OK guys tell all your friends!!! This will be BBallz' #1 Komp. For thoise of us who follow yank football, you know about the spread. For some newcommers heres a brief explanation:

The spread works like this:

Lets say the Pats are playing the Bills. The pats are a 9 points favorite. If you pick the Pats they have to win by MORE than 9 points. If the Bills WIN outright or LOSE by LESS than 9, then the Bills win. If the pats win by EXACTLY 9 points, then its a "push" or a tie.

Examples:
Pats win 31-17 Pats win

Pats win 27-21 Bills win

Bills win outright Bills win

Pats win 30-21 Push or tie

Got it??

We will do what we did last season. You pick 4 games per week. If you miss a week or screw up and pick less than 4 on any week-DONT WORRY. You can make up your picks. Our texasMac was a bit "pick Challenged" last season but he came good in the end.

Prize will be a lunch with yours truly in Thailand. Venue of MY CHOICE!!!

Also, for your convenience, you should post the official spreads, exactly like LBQ does on the main pickem thread, less confusion for you methinks.

For the spread Komp, we will be doing 4 games/wek just like last season. I had a huddle with the big boss and asked for the lines to be posted early this week. I see some of the lines moved for Week 1. Thats why I think its best to wait til they are posted......
