The problem with full contact pre-season football is it's just as dangerous as the regular season football, so in my mind you may as well make them count.

I'm in favour of a longer season not just for selfish reasons.

I think the extra two weeks won't make every game quite so crucial.

So what if teams aren't ready to play. Maybe there will be a bit more focus on the importance of training camps, etc.

I really think that two full games of pre season contact football is enough to prime your talent... at least I think it should be.

Hank Stram with a big grin on his gob too, 3-0 Chiefs, going to be a long year for NYG too I suspect. I think Detroit, with Stafford, would be the talk of the town this season, not a bad team there at all.
