Why are the Euro teams crashing out?

France are on strike! Spain lose to the Swiss! England look unfit and out of their depth! Italy can't beat New Zealand (and only managed a draw through a penalty!) Germany lose to... wait for it... Serbia!

At least three of these giants of European footy are gonna go home before they reach the 'sweet' 16...

Any ideas why? Well for me it's as plain as the nose on my face.

They are spoiled babies who think that this football lark is some kind of spiritual socialism.

If you don't like what the managers tell you then just don't play! One of your mates been sent home early? Not allowed to see your girlfriend? The boss said "Don't dye your hair!"?

And the complains don't end there... they are whining about the buses they are 'forced' to ride on. The security isn't good enough. The food is shit. They are feeling lonely...

Fuck me - it's like these 'prima donnas' are rock stars or something.

Frankly; the French players should be banned from further international competition.

I've been watching these oiled and powdered poofs kicking the ball in the air for the last few days and I don't think they are much good at the game anyway.

A few school girls could aim with better accuracy and they'd be far more disciplined whilst doing it.

Europe should hang their heads in shame over the performance of their big teams in this tournament. And the reason is that their players are too arrogant and spoiled to do their job properly.

I'll give you a good example: After a lifeless and inept performance by the England team that working class pit bull Rooney decide that it was the fans who were the bad guys! These fussy little darlings refuse to accept responsibility for their own performance.

These tossers don't need managers or coaches... they need babysitters and social workers.

I haven't even looked at the groups but how you can say three of them are going out already is a bit much. The only one of that bunch who look on the way out is the French... Spain will sort out the Hondurans and the other mob, no danger. The Germans will sort out the Ghana fellahs and Italy, well, they are Italy.

I can't see Engerland not beating Slovenia... but then again, I thought they'd beat Algeria! And all this from the country that brought you football, the golden generation, Alf and 66... etc etc ad infinitum.

Well, you are alluding to a common perception that the English are living in the past  - and you may be right.

But the players back then (in all the UK) had a lot more class and dignity than these 'metro-sexual' poofs.

I think Italy would stand a lot better chance of doing well in the world cup if they were allowed hair dryers on the field. And their acting lessons have been a bit shabby, too.

I think its too early to write off the big teams.....except France.They should never have been allowed in the first place after cheating in the qualifier match with Ireland.France are already packing their designer suitcases.
Germany were beaten by a poor referee and his poor descisions.They will qualify no problem.
Italy?-an aging team.Italy have always been prima donas,but thay are always there near the final.Spain had a blip,they will come good.
England are the enigma,with so many good players,why are they so shit?They will beat Slovenia to qualify though.

The biggest disappointment to me have been the African teams-maybe only Ghana will go thru to the next round.

Its supposed to be about enjoyment isnt it.But The players should have aired issues before the world cup about being played out of position but i dont blame them one bit. Capello should take the fucking ear plugs out and listen.

The Italians are to old IMO. The French have no excuse and should be at the top of the group

Still it gives the so called minnows a chance and im routing for the Swiss now as team 2. Maybe the minnows will swallow the sharks

All great players on paper. But they often play apart, in other leagues, other countries. Bring all these egos together and try to get them to bond and play as a team in a few short weeks and with a foreign coach to boot ?

Playing for your country in this sport isn't what it used to be.

But it is for every main nation. Four years ago I was backing the Argies but they lost out to the Germans on penalties. I am sticking with them again this time... mainly because of the poor qualifying campaign!

If there main stars can fly 16 hours, train for a day, play poorly and still qualify, imagine what they can do if they are together for weeks at a time with the maddest manager in the world showing them what to do and all the time deflecting the limelight on to himself...

And they have always had the coolest kit...

Just maybe if the English Players were more relaxed, treated as Adults instead of little Kid's and not being in a "Boot Camp" regime would help.

Dont remember it doing Georgie Best much harm when he would get   , "shag" a Miss World   then go out the next day and score a "hat trick" playing on pitches 6 inches deep in mud
