I'd love to see America progress to the next round and they do have a shot at doing so, but tonight won't be their night.

A few years ago the USA climbed to 6 in the FIFA rankings, however no one understood how the rankings are worked out and i dont think e do now.

The Co efficent of X divide by the last 100 games goal  average and so on and on..does anyone here understand  the FIFA ranking system and how they arrive at the figures

Just heard on BBC ,USA have sold 8000 tickets to England's 6000, that's official sales. Now how the fuck does that happen ( although i think there be twice as many English at the game) surely to God, as an English supporter you'd only buy on the black market if you couldn't buy off the official site, or am I being a complete gob shite

More and more Americans are converting to real football so that 8000 figure I would well believe.

I think the world ranking of the US has been spoken about by the Irish pundits in the past. I think its something got to do with their qualifying groups being filled with shite teams from the Carrabean.
