by the way BB-what do you mean bullies? How do you define bullies?

Why do you continue to use the word when it makes no sense.What you mean is ,bigger more sucessful club which is of course true,but not bully.
If that is your definition of bully,then Liverpool ,Arsenal,Aston Villa,Chelsea,Spurs,Everton and Newcastle are bullies also.

Anyways though i dont have much love in my heart for City either i probably think they win a the matters in the next four years.

Though it is likely going to be an FA cup or an UEFA cup i see them buying there way into something like this.....

As for becoming a greater club then United,that is never going to happen....Tradition,brand and proper managment still stand for something and the fact that ManU will always be a more attractive option businesswise then the likes of ManCity is never going to change....

You should also really ponder how much staying power Mansour has.Sure he probably be involved and interested for the coming years but is the think going to be a family legacy....Is the interest going to be the same in ten to twenty years....

And god forbid in the win something big in around five years......is the project done then?

As for the argument that United managed to gain strenght on its own while ManCity whored itself out to the punter with the biggest wad of cash....cant really say anything against that.

Not that i generally think it is a bad thing for the Premier League or ManCity but should you really be proud if you win a computergame while having unlimted lifes....And god forbid,if you dont win something shouldnt you just cry the eyes out of your head out of shame...

All in all,I am extremely happy boys because Ajax is through to the CL again and though we probably never going to match up properly again against the premier league clubs who we are joining,Suerez causing aggro is still going to be a sight to behold

You know after watching Spur football last night in champions league even though I was distracted in chat .. I have to say, what was Fabio Capello thinking during the WC? Why didn't he play a 4 3 3 with Rooney, Crouch and Defoe up front?

Any thoughts?

as whore says Jake,world cup talk is history......however Crouch and Defoe look good against mediocre opposition(swiss league is very poor)but they cant cut the mustard at the highest level IMO -

That's why I'm taking some time to decide. Its such a big decision.

Arsenal is looking more and more attractive but no players on it that I really like, they're all on Man City or United or Liverpool.

There a lot of reasons not to support Arsenal but not liking the players doesnt really come to mind with me.....

As for world cup talk.....would be good to be quit about that since we where absolutely robbed in the final by our English friend who blows a wissle so elegantly...

Then again,the Spanish armada was better by leaps and bounds so perhaps it was some kind of devine justice.

I'm not a fan of dutch footballers much over the years. The only exception for me would be Ruud Van Nistelrooy when he was with United. He was like a vacuum cleaner, any loose ball around the goal and he'd pounce.

Sport when you were born in a place that made you a Gillingham supporter, raised in a place that made you Crystal Palace supporter and live in a place that gives you a choice between Millwall and Charlton you have a situation that makes Dutch football look like paradise.

My Grandfather worked at Chatham Dockyard and my Gran had a Confectionary shop at 12 Skinner Street ( off High St), no longer there I may add  

And if I were asked "Where were you when Elvis died ?" I can reply at The Strand in Gillingham Kent

rudi was great,the first proper striker united signed since denis law.
by the way ,did you know the great Dutch/arsenal player denis bergkamp was named after denis law by his father a dutch Red?
The dutch have produced some of the greatest players the world have ever seen....for such a small nation,incredible really....cruyff,bergkamp,gullit,rijkard,kluivert, koemann,rensenbrink,hahn,neeskins..the list is almost endless.They should have won far more than they have,only 1 european championship and 3 times world cup runners up.

Interesting Champions league draw-ajax in the group of death ! Tough draw for spurs also.

TB do you not know what a bully is and does?? Have you not seen the United hordes surround a ref (on the VERY rare occasion) when a decision goes against them?? How Fergeson always berates officials when they lose?? Some of the clbs dealings in the transfer market in years past i.e tapping up/unsetting players to force a move to their club?? Dont tell me it never happened. Look how Slur Alex treats the media on the rare occasions when they dont kiss his ass....Roy Keane wasnt a bully?? My God look at how he played. Very talented yes but a total twat.

BTW TB how much can you afford to lose then?? So you odnt want to bet 30,000 baht, fair enough, but how much to make things interesting?? Or dont you want to step up to the plate??

Roll on to the weekend. If City go to Sunderland and get a win I will be a bit more impressed.

BTW One D. Boyata (a youth academy product) had a good game last night and even socred a goal in our UEFA Cup playoff win. Drawn with Juve-now THAT will be interesting......
