(BlueBallz @ Sep. 09 2009,04:23) Just to be lear you pick for the WINNERS is Cincy and the LOSERS is Buffalo is that correct??
Yes, you are correct. I won't be able to use Cincy in the winners pool again if they do beat Denver and I won't be able to use Buffalo again in the losers pool is how I'm understanding it.
We are having TWO DISTINCT POOLS a winners and a losers.
The same rules apply for both i.e. you pick one team you think will win outright. You cannot use this team in the winners pool again but if you want to use them in the LOSERS pool, you may do so!! You do the same for the LOSERS pool as well. You use a team once but if you want to use themin the WINNERS pool you may do so!!
Clear??
In a big office pool you need to separate yourself from the pack to win. It's a given everyone will be all over New Orleans and Baltimore so a pick like Seattle is a shrewd pick.

Here are the picks in one (winners) office pool:
Thats a big office. As small as ours is here I probably didn't need to try for the separation you suggested. I took Cincy in the winners for that reason. I think they will be able to get up at home for the opener against a maligned Denver team led by Kyle Orton. If I'm right I'm in good shape if wrong...thanks for playing.
Blue Balz thanks for the clarification...wanted to make sure for everyones sake.
PigDogg knows way better than I do but I would think, especially for the first week or the first couple of weeks for that matter, you want to take some big chalk. Then see how the season starts to play out.....
