Week # 8
Game # 1
Denver Broncos (6-0) at Baltimore Ravens (3-3)
Ravens by 3 ½
Hmmm something wrong with this picture isn't there? The Broncos are after all 6-0 so why are they a 3 ½ dog to the Ravens who are 3-3? Well I guess it could be because the Broncs have been incredibly lucky all season. But actually I don't think the Ravens are all that either. The Broncs D is better then they get credit for and will cause problems for the Ravens offense the whole game
I'm sticking with the Broncos
Game # 2
New York Giants (5-2) at Philadelphia Eagles (4-2)
Eagles by 1 1/2
The Giants have looked somewhat pathetic in losing to the Saints and then last weekend Peyton's little bro throws 3 picks to the Cardinals who haven't had that many INTs in a game since Disco was king!!!! But let us not forget that the Eagles got spanked by the Raiders not too long ago!!! And were leading 17-0 before anyone took their seats in RFK last night only to persevere 27-17. The Giants need to flex this weekend.
Giants in a good old NFC East battle
Game # 3
Minnesota Vikings (6-1) at Green Bay Packers (4-2)
Packers by 3
This is the one JaiDee has been waiting all year for. The return of ole # 4 to the frozen tundra of Green Bay. This game needed to be played on December 20th instead of this early when the frost will be minimal. But it is what it is. The Vikes have stormed out to a 1 ½ game lead in the Norris division and played tough in 3 Rivers last weekend and Aaron Rodgers is putting up, dare I say it?, Favrelike numbers in good old Green Bay. This is a game that the Packers sincerely cannot afford to lose.
But they will
Vikings of Minnemotherfuckingsota
Game # 4
St. Louis Rams (0-7) at Detroit Lions (1-5)
Lions by 4
OK lets dispense with the Toilet Bowl references and the pathetic game comments. This could be a good game? Nah it won't be but it should be fun to see if the hapless motor city kitties, yes my own beloved motor city kitties, can push the hapless Rams closer to their 0-19 record.
Lions make it 0-18
Game # 5
Miami Dolphins (2-4) at New York Jets (4-3)
Jets by 3 ½
Seems like just 2 weeks ago on a humid Monday night these two teams battled it between 2 new starting QBs.....wait I guess it was only a cople of weeks ago wasn't it!!!! If this game matches up it will be a doozy. The Jets got well last weekend and the Dolphins D got exposed a bit. The fins should get better this week, after all it is Sanchez not Brees, again but I don't think that will be enough.
Jets in another classic
Monday Night Bonerus
Atlanta Falcons (4-2) at New Orleans Saints (6-0)
Saints by 10
A classic NFC South showdown and how can you not bet on the Saints after last weekend and Brees tends to shine on Monday Night games.
He will again
Saints 34-20
