[b]Week # 9
Game # 1
Washington Redskins (2-5) at Atlanta Falcons (4-3)
Falcons by 1
Sorry guys and gals but I cannot understand the point spread in this game. You have to figure it will go up in Atlanta's favor soon. I mean you have one team that played the Saints to the end last night in New Orleans and another that just canned their GM this morning because the team is so pathetic. The Falcons will be out to show they really belong this week and they will.
Falcons in a rout
Game # 2
Arizona Cardinals (4-3) at Chicago Bears (4-3)
Bears by 3
The Cards looked bad for most of the game last weekend while losing at home to a fired up Panther crew but Warner will regroup this week and be back on track, I mean how can you not be with receivers like Boldin, Fitzgerald and Breaston? Even Pay4Player could connect with them!!!! The Bears are coming off a bye week after playing the "mistake by the lake" Brownies and should be well rested. Cutler didn't need his arm with Matt Forte plowing thru the hapless Mangenius defense. Seriously this should be a good game to watch.
I'm thinking Cardinals in a classic
Game # 3
Carolina Panthers (3-4) at New Orleans (7-0)
Saints by 2
Some terms come to mind here, trap game, let down, too much MNF. The Saints have had too fairly close games in a row and could be in for a letdown after that Monday night game and the Panthers seemed to have regained some confidence after going out to the desert and opening a can on the Cards. As long as Brees stays healthy and as long as Colston stays healthy I seriously am beginning to think the Saints have that air about them but........they aren't going undefeated.
Panthers in a colossal upset
Game # 4
Tennessee Titans (1-6) at San Francisco 49ers (3-4)
Niners by 4
The Niners just finished up getting beat by the Texans of the AFC south and now are meeting the Titans again from that same division who are undefeated since King Bud Adams decried that Vince Young will be the starter until further notice. I mean he needs to get something out that multi-million dollar contract he gave VY. The Niners are still tough and a healthy Frank Gore could make mincemeat of a porous Titan run defense.
How bout a San Francisco treat!!!!
Game # 5
Dallas Cowboys (5-2) at Philadelphia Eagles (5-2)
Eagles by 3
The battle for NFC East supremacy will take place on NBC's Sunday Night Football!!!! With a rejuvenated Donovan and a Jessicaless Tony Romo both playing above their heads. Romo has replaced a whining TO with a young energetic Miles Austin (who has helped my fantasy team tremendously!!!!) and Donovan has put any thoughts of Michael (bow wow) Vick replacing far in the back of Andy Reid's mind. This will be another classic Cowboys/Eagles battle and will likely have the liberals in the NBC studios wetting their pants as much as they do when opportunities to bash the right arise (for you BB)
Eagles in a classic
Monday Night Bonerus
Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2) at Denver Broncos (6-1)
Steelers by 3
A Monday night game in November in Denver!!!!! Can we not keep our fingers crossed for snow and 15 degree weather??? The Broncs got a bit exposed by the Ravens D last Sunday but they still have enough of a quality D them selves to be a factor the rest of the season. But the Steelers coming off a long rest with the bye week and then playing on MNF not to mention getting Troy Palamalu back will be ready.
The Broncos lose their second in a row 31-20 Steelers
