Only 2 weeks to go and PiggDogg has a comfortable 4 point lead. Reminder there is an extra bonerus NEXT week so be prepared.
Week # 16
Game # 1
Oakland Raiders (5-9) at Cleveland Browns (3-11)
Browns by 3 ½
The resurgent Browns are playing themselves out of the #1 draft choice sweepstakes by finding an offense and are on a 2 game winning streak right now and the Raiders # 1 draft choice from a couple of years ago finally played like one in relief last weekend. But if Gradowski is healthy it is predetermined that he will likely start. I cannot see the Mistake by the lake boys actually winning 3 in a row. Plus this just the chosen one Brady Quinn s out for the season.
I€™m going Raiders right now
Game # 2
Houston Texans (7-7) at Miami Dolphins (7-7)
Dolphins by 3
The orange and teal clad €˜Fins dropped a heartbreaker to the €œold€ Houston franchise last weekend and need this to stay mathematically involved in this year€™s playoff chase and the same goes for Houston€™s new NFL franchise. Matt Schaub is putting up gaudy numbers but I think even SamplerDoc or Rusty Nail could if they had Andre Johnson to throw the rock to!!!!! The latest in the long line of ex-Wolverine QB€™s in the NFL (which will remain stagnant as long as RR coaches the maize and blue) showed some Tom Brady talent in bringing the orange and teal back from a 3 TD deficit to force OT last week then showed his inexperience by throwing a pick in OT. He€™ll be ready to burst the Texan€™s bubble this week.
Orange and Teal (Fins) stay alive
Game # 3
Carolina Panthers (6-8) at New York Giants (8-6)
Giants by 5 ½
The Giants clobbered the Redskins on Monday night to keep their hopes alive and need to maintain against the Panthers who started an uprising in Viking land by pitting Jaidee€™s BFF Brett against Coach Childress. Coach Fox is wondering why he waited so long to bench Jake the Cajun snake DelHomme for Moore. The Giants need this a lot more and I don€™t think even a few more wins will keep Fox on the job.
Giants in good one
Game # 4
Baltimore Ravens (8-6) at Pittsburgh Steelers (7-7)
Steelers by 2 ½
The Steel crew finally snapped out of it last weekend and still have a shot at a wild card berth and there is nothing Mike Tomlin would like better then to spoil the division rival Ravens wild card spot. Big Ben will have the crew ready and should keep their hopes alive for another week at least.
Steelers in another good one
Game # 5
Dallas Cowboys (9-5) at Washington Redskins (4-10)
Cowboys by 4
Does anyone else remember when a game between these two actually meant something? No all it means is that there is only two more games left until Mike Shanahan takes over the Redskins coaching duties. The Cowboys got over their December doldrums by upsetting the Saint apple cart last weekend and should continue with this game.
The Boys in a rout
Monday Night Bonerus
Minnesota Vikings (11-3) at Chicago Bears (5-9)
Vikings by 7
Another classic inter-divisional rivalry that has lost some ummpphh. Jay Cutler has turned into a turnover machine that may cost a class coach his job in Lovie Smith and meanwhile JaiDee€™s BFF Brett may become the Viking€™s player coach before all is said and done this season!!!! The Viking will wake up this weekend and clinch the first round bye they need
Vikings 28-17
