We have a new leader. Four weeks in and I am rather surprised at the high level of picking!!!!! Mr. Piggdogg went a perfect 4-0 for the second week on the bounce!! Beers on Mr. Pigg LOL !!! We have some guys who didnt pick and one guy, Mirimark, who started at 6-2 who has missed the last two weeks. Anyone know where he has gone?? Such a promising begining!!

No dieter this is a competition against the "points spread". you lost the Pittsburgh game as they didnt win by greater than the points spread and the same for the Cowboys. For example, the Cowboys beat KC 26-20 but they were favored by 9 points. They won by LESS than the spread (9 points) hence you LOST the game.

I think I fucked this up. Because I couldnt read my own writing, I had carolina winning only 23-21 when in fact, they won 28-21. They were favore by 3 1/2. If they only won 23-21 thats less than the spread so its a loss. I will ahve a looksee and see who picked that game besides kevin. Thanks Kev....

The only ones effected were Kevin and Dieter. Kevin picked carolina and I had that down as a loss, it was a win. Dieter had Tampa Bay and I counted that as a win-its a loss. To revise the standings Kevin was 1-3 instead of 0-4 and Dieter is really 1-3 not 2-2. Got that?

OK guys I have to make a couple of notes here. I only started doing the standings form week 3. Thaibound PMed and said he never picked for WEEK 1 and that Smutts inadvertently gave him an 0-4 for WEEK 1 so he really shold have 4 less losses. I will review that.

He missed one week (4 picks) and Eyemahk has done the same. TexasMac has missed two weeks (8 picks). What I propose is that these guys make up the picks throughout the rest of the year so they ahve the same number of picks as everyone else. If I have the time i can also break down everything in % as well. I will PM those who have missed weeks and propose this.

A couple of notes:

Thaibound missed WEEK 1 but somehow got credited with an 0-4 that counted against his record. I have to revise this and he is really 16-12. That will be corrected in next weeks standings.

I have contacted both TexasMac and EyeMahk who have missed some weeks. I suggested that they make extra picks unitl they catch up with everyone else and I will make the same suggestions to the aforementioned Thaibound. This is to ensure that everyone is on the same amounts of picks.
