      congrats BS!!!!!

      Manning's legacy is suspect

It's good to King........no matter what the pay

Courage is being scared to death__and saddling up anyway

Billy Jaffe, Radio Voice of the Thrashers:
”I have absolutely No problem with Ohio State. It has a beautiful campus, and for a Junior College it has really great Academics.”

"Gentlemen and ladies, 'Those Who Stay Will Be Champions' is for you too. It's for every Michigan fan that's out there. When the going gets tough, you don't cut and run. It's not the Michigan way. If I heard it once from the old man, I heard it a thousand times -- when the going gets tough you find out who your real friends are, and that's why we must stay. Because there will be championships, and this staff and these kids will bring those championships here."

What a night - what a game - what a long long long time we waited!

Holding The Colts to a couple of TDs and 17 points is pretty good stuff for this underrated NO defense. Remember - The Colts haven't lost a game that they wanted to win for a couple of years!

It was very close - even up until the final two minutes but I'll be savoring this for a long, long time.

The New Orleans Saints won it and they deserved to!

I've looked at that forum in the link two posts back and I have to say that The Colts fans on that forum show a lot of class. Frustration of course but good analysis of what happened and kudos handed out to The Saints...

I don't know what the game plan was for The Colts. They sat on a ten point lead and forgot there was three quarters left to play.

Vilma had a great game for The Saints but Drew deserves the MVP.

A good result. Good for New Orleans & good for the fans who have waited forever.

In that uniquely American way it was another feel-good story - a city devastated by tragedy triumphs against the odds, etc.

Who coaches these sides? Disney Studios?

But credit where it is due, the better coach, the better QB (on the day) & the players who wanted to win more.

From an outsiders POV I enjoyed the game & when Porter intercepted for that TD run, I was excited as any Saints fan.

I initially tuned in to catch The Who at half time. They were good but it was impossible to capture the atmosphere of their live show when they miked them up to emphasise the vocals & downplay the instruments.

I guess that's the only way to broadcast a live concert but I do hope their amazing live show isn't judged by what came across on TV. And poor old Roger Daltrey, I am sure he won't be able to talk for a week.
Despite the high cost of living, it continues to be popular.

There's a joker in every crowd!

Why I love that Colts message board is because of all the bandwagon-jumpers who read there; I first viewed it in late December when they tanked in their 14th game against the Jets and lost their perfect-record chances and it was hysterical just how many people were jumping ship.

Logged on again today after Peyton threw that pick -six and it was more of the same, times 10; hell, the only people who are more fair-weathered than those hayseeds from Indiana are the people who follow The Chargers; "Oh, the bolts are losing today? no biggie dude, lets go to the beach''.

The better team won today, and they also have better FANS down there in the bayou.

The bar I was at seemed very quiet,; I figured people weren't use to waking up before sunrise. Then when the Saints got their groove back the bar was noisy, seemed about 80% of the guys were rooting for the Saints.

Just seems that Indy is not a teqam people want to root for, boring city, and Peyton is not the most likeable guy.

For those of you who want to watch replays in Pattaya, if a bar has the True Platinum package it's on 108, search on ASN.

If the Gold package it's on 104, search on TrueSports 4.

I think with the Platinum you get both ASN 108 and TrueSports 4 on 104.

I'm not entirely blaming manning on the key interception, not just yet anyway. I watched the play over and over. Maybe it was the angle, but the ball did not appear to be thrown close enough to the receiver to catch. What really caught my attention was what happened after the play. Manning and the receiver met on the field and exchanged a word. It wasn€™t like a hey man that sucks and a pat on the back, but a more tense sort of a what the hell just went wrong there. A bad throw where manning just cracked under pressure is the popular possibility. Another possibility is manning called a slant, but the receiver ran the wrong route. So when Manning threw the ball, it was where the receiver was supposed to be had he continued on a slant rather than running a button hook. No doubt about it the defender made a great play and keyed on the ball coming to that receiver, probably because manning telegraphed where he was going the whole way.

But there is even one more interesting thing about that play. Did anyone notice manning went to tackle the guy who intercepted and was the recipient of a flagrant block in the back that was not called?

Not making excuses, I really didn't care who won. That was just a very unusual play in many ways.

As I understand the rules, if the QB makes himself a part of the play (for example by not getting the fuck out of the way!) then he's fair game for a block in the back.

A block from behind below the waist is clipping, a 15 yard penalty.
