That has to be the most ridiculous football/business descision ever-buying manchester city and spending £200 million(with contract wages)How on earth will they ever get anywhere near that money back?They do not even own the stadium,its owned by the council.and they only get the first 35,000 tickets,the council get the revenue for the other 9,000.
At least Abramovitch bought prime real estate when he bought Chelski.Nobody wants to live in the part of manchester that houses man city,even the pikeys wont live there!So,even if they bought the ground off the council,the land aint worth shit!They cannot fill the ground now,so there would be no point enlarging it.The myth that city have great support is just that,a myth.They sell childrens tickets for £1 in an effort to fill the placeMassive club,my arse!So,no matter how many millions these arabs put into city,they are bound to fuck it up-as they say "you cant polish a turd"Newcastle or West ham or numerous clubs would have been a far better investment for the arabs,but city!-doh!

The money the Abu Dabi Group are spending is probably akin to us sclhubs going out a splashing out 100 quid on a nice meal. The fact of the matter is that City will have to overpay for players for the forseeable future. then, IF they can establish themsleves in the top 3 or 4 and offer incoming players European football AND the best wages-what the fuck do you think is going to happen. You seem to forget that your beloved Stretford Rovers (700 million in debt and climbing) won fuck all for 25 years plus until that cash cow Sky transformed English football. that, "sir", in undeniable.

The Arabs running the club has plans-BIG PLANS-which include usurping The stretfords of the world. Its certainly not going to happen overnight. We have waited 33 years and we are still here. well,that post of mine has got the bitters biting.Typical city fan blue balls,as economical with the truth as the rest of your bitter lot.So winning nothing for 25 years-you obviously didnt count the 4 fa cups,1 league cup and 2 european trophies then!.(Not counting the charity shields),The point i was trying to make was -how are they abu dhabi group going to make money?You say they have big plans ?Any idea what they are exactly?Even with sucess on the pitch,which is by no means guaranteed ,they will never turn a profit!Abramovitch has lost over 150 million while hes been at chelsea,and at least they have 2 prem titles and 2 fa cups to show for it.They were also a much better team when abramovitch bought the club,and not so much radical surgery was needed.AS i said ,city are bound to fuck it up.
