Dave, that didn't take much out of your boys did it, hoping for something a little more competitive tonight. Heading back to the Penh in a day or so, big vet's reunion, not seen a couple of these guy's for 25 years, so if i survive see you down the beach end of the month, looking forward to watching the final with you.

geezer: 2nd worst referee of all time. Ref's get rated out of 20 in Euro games. The official worst performance from a ref (a French man) came in a European Cup final many years ago, he scored 2 and never officiated again. The game, in England, became a circus with the introduction of the 'Premier League' and, with one or two exeptions, 'foreign imports' , note, in the main, the nationalities of the fall over roll around in agony and protest brigade, Let's hope the referee for the final, John Cleese, gives us a performance to remember.

I think with both their first choice fullbacks out Ronaldo and Rooney will have a field day. Hiddink showed United how to stop Barcelona from scoring. Don't play high up the pitch and cut off the supply in the Midfeild. Having said that Messi on his day can turn a game by himself. It should be a good match. I'll be watching on the big screen thinking about what could have been.

these would be the same nationalities that generally win world and european championships - certainly with more frequency than the much-loved british institution of the english centre-half with a bandage on his head, great heading ability and the ball skills of a hippo
