Very good performance form my beloved Blues at goodison on Sat.. Everyone played well-even Gelson when he came on!! Too bad we couldnt save it for Sunday the 10th-WE ARE IMPECCABLE!!!

Back in the jungle at the moment so didn't see the Man U/Spurs game but agree with tim1212, use the video replay option.Yea the officials are sub standard, however the players , many of whome are also sub standard, dont help with there antics. As for the argument that it would stop the flow of the game, well all the rolling around, pushing, shoving, and arguments dont exactly help.
And, as we've reached that time of year, what ideas do you guy's have as an alternative to the penalty shoot-out. Years ago in Scotland they decided drawn league cup ties by the number of corners teams had, the logic being the team with the most had done more attacking. My idea would be to remove all players on yellow cards at the end of 90 mins, and during extra time have just reds, allthough those sending off's would not count toward a points total.

All the best to those left in the semi's.

Just one more thing, were Liverpool ever world champs ?.

Interesting thoughts and interesting topic for debate. heres a radical thought that will never be implemented: First of all give the teams one extra sub starting in extra time. Why canot they remove one player after every 10 minutes? Less players = more space = more chances will eventually = a goal!

Millwall v L.U. should be an interesting couple of family nights out. Dave if i decide to come over for the above could i possibly borrow your Harrington and that old pair of Doc's you've got in the attic, and for the away leg i thought BlueBallz could suply the Crombie.
