Now Dave, you know us folk from over the hill, non violent, unbiased, sporting people who only want to see a good decent fair game, you know the kind of thing, Chelsea v Leeds (cup replay) at the theatre a few years back being a fine example.

What a game. Can't remeber feeling that good after a game in a long time. Got no bloody work done yesterday as I was too nervous. I knew it was going to be close. Spent 20 minutes getting in becasue of the new entry system then forgot it was CL so no beer before hand When that pen went in and Liverpool were 2 nil up I thought we'd blown it.
I don't know what Gus said at half time but it sure bloody worked. I know Gerrard on his day is probably the best in the world but I'd take Lampard all the time. His work rate is unbelievable and he always get's you a goal when you need it. Drogba when his in that form is unplayable as well. I though Rafa blew it by taking of Macherano (and leaving on Lucas) It handed us the midfeild and taking Torres off with 10 to go saved us the match. If Rafa had of backed his team it may well have been Liverpool on their way to Barcelona.
Thought both sets of fans were well behaved and apart from a bit of argy bargy on Fulham Broadway after the game I didn't see no real trouble. Credit to Liverpool pushing us that far. If Gerrard had of been fit who knows. Suppose it's abit of a case of see you next year, you know it's going to happen.
PS re Hillsborough, it often gets carried up in points scoring between fans but despite of who was responsible it should be remebered that 96 people died going to a football game and that should never happen.Beer Baron

Liverpool game was a stunner, shame they went out. Very touching watching the remembrance for the 96 that died! What really annoyed me is that Gordon fucking Brown attended a memorial service on the same day for a Helicopter crash that claimed 16 lives in the north sea, then sends his nancy boy to deliver a speech at anfield!i'm going where the sun keeps shining.................
