Despite the high cost of living, it continues to be popular.

            • Don't want to hijack the thread, but need to let you all know that Leeds United have made the play off's in L1 (yes we all know it's really Div 3), if we hadn't been robbed 15 points it would have been automatic promotion, never mind we'll do it the hard way and be playing Man U and Chelski in 2009/2010

                • I see most of the other clubs in that division enjoyed their new record home attendance this season when Leeds came to town.

Question - Wise and Poyet. Who is the bigger Judas? Or neither?

I think neither, really they were hardly there long enough for anyone to throw around "Judas" tags, especially given the anti Wise sentiment he had to endure, before he turned things around.
In the end all fans were sorry to see them go, my old mate Fergy, who is still local reckons the biggest loss was Gus Poyet.
Well that's all in the past now let's just hope they can make their way back to the top flight in the next two to three years.
It wouldn't be so bad if my second teamwere bigger than Burnley

                          • Last time I was at Elland Road, the game was a minute old when the entire crowd (apart from the Gooners) rose as one to sing "Stand Up If You Hate Man U". Understandably, I remained firmly in my seat, despite the steely glares from my neighbours.

                            I said I had a bad leg.

Well I can see security is complete at LB Towers & you must sleep soundly knowing such a savage mutt is on patrol.

                              What have you called him/her?

                              Snooky wookems per chance?
