if fifa did replay it would open a can of worms with too many games going to a replay, even 1966 would have to be replayed it`s part of the game, the only possible solution is video replay with the third ref but this would stop the flow of the game and a 90 minute game would take 3 hours?
My condolences to the Irish. That was a very shitty way to go out of the qualifiers.
Thierry Henry has now tarnished his very distinguished career by this hand-ball and will now be remembered as a cheat rather than a ambassador for the game.
I like the video ref idea. I believe that it's the only way to make the game mistake free on behalf of the officials.

Show me a single rugby union game that has lasted 3 hours while using video technology.
The only difference is that in rugby union, the game is stopped anyway when they have to use the video ie the ball is touched down over the try line, or is at least buried under 10 guys. Not quite the same with soccer, but they could just wait until the ball does go out of play and then spend 30-60 secs looking at the video...in fact, the video ref could have already started looking at it, so no massive delays
henry said he thought about quiting after his" hand of frog"?
a cheeky question for the irish,if england play france in the world cup who will you want to win?
