Yeah watched the game and was very disappointed not to go through to the world cup finals. More disappointed for Duff, Keane, Dunne, Kilbane, Given who are more than likely not going to get another chance at a world cup again.

Its an awful shame that such a big game for a place in the world cup went down to such a goal. Although am not sure if I would be saying that if the boot was on the other foot.

We would have went on to win the world cup if we got through. So now England will be in with a chance to win it. I'll have to get out my england jersey for another world cup

The way I saw the replay, henry knew EXACTLY what he was doing. Yeah, I know if the shoe were on the other foot I am sure that Ireland wouldnt turn do the spot but jeez does that leave a bitter taste!! From the limited highlights I saw, it looked as though Ireland could have/should have settled things in normal time. Even if that were the case, it doesnt excuse what Henry did. If I were an Irish player, I wouldnt shake his hand.....
