  • This Tiger Woods Thing....

Now I wasnt a big fan of Tiger to start with. Oh yes he is a brilliant player and has a lot of heart. He seemed like a bit of a prick to me. I know he and his Mom are NOT liked in Thailand. But this bullshit going on down in Florida makes me like him even less.

I first heard about it on the net on Friday morning. I was genuinely concerned that he was hurt badly. The first reports that the accident was "serious" and he was in the hospital. That could mean anything really. It sounded fishy when some of the reports came out. His wife smashed the back on the Escalade to "get him out". Doesnt make sense to me. Combine that with the fact he is leaving his house at 230 am on THANKSGIVING night. What the fuck? I thought the story got WAAAY too much attention when it was known h was released and wasnt in any danger.

Now this is whats getting on my tits. The fact he is brushing off the cops is pissing me off. You think if it were Joe Bloggs getting "investigated" he would be allowed to blow off the cops? No didnt think so. And they were very quick to say alcohol wasnt involved. How did they know? Now if Tiger is dipping his wick where it doesnt belong, thats really none of my business. But I know what the media are like and given the fact he had this accident its now a big deal.

The fact that he is "hunkered down" and handing out bullshit satements to his lackey IMHO shows a lack of forthrightedness, if there is such a word. You know he, his missus, and "his people" are trying to get their stories straight. I really dont think the cops are interested in busting his balls but if he acts arrogantly then they might get a hard on for him.

Now we (of all groups) could definitely identify him wanted some different poontang no matter how hot the wifey is. Why doesnt he take a short term hit and man up. Just issue a statement like this: "Although my wife and I are very private people I do understand the publics intense interest in this case. Like most couples we had an disagreement the night of Thanksgiving. Instead of having this escalate, I decided to leave the home for a while to clear my head. I got distracted while pulling out of the driveway (he doesnt have to say if the wifey was chasing him with a 3 iron) and had an accident. Thankfully I expect to make a speedy recovery and be back playing golf. My wife and I continue to work on our relationship and hope everyone will respect our privacy in this trying time."

Now loads of people (including most guys) would really be able to relate to this. Instead he looks like an unctous prick sitting in his castle telling everyone, cops included, to fuck off.

The real problem will be with this skank he was, supposedly, schtupping. If, as the media have reported, that she followed him to Vegas and even AUSTRALIA, then someone is going to find out. I doubt Tiger was so careful as there would be NO records of any kind. He is gonna has to pay thru the nose to this skank-unless she is fiercely loyal to him. I doubt that as he will ahve to grovel to his wife and tell her to fuck off. I dont think she would take too kindly to that-that is IF he has been fucking this girl. He probably has been.

This story will play out even more as you JUST KNOW the media are digging thru a lot of dirt hoping to mine some gold. If the reports are true that this skank has run out to LA to meet with that lense lice called GLORIA ALRED, then it sounds as if the circus is just beginning. Its seems all so unecessary as if Tiger would man up and take a hit, a lot of it would go away.

Heres a bit of wisdom form your buddy Blueballz: This proves one thing. Guys need food, shelter, pussy and strange pussy..
Sorry for that above for this site it can be rephrased: LB lovers just need food shleter, LB cock and strange LB cock. Youse know what I mean....

I'm so fucking sick of this bullshit. You're exactly right too. If this had happened to any of us here, then we'd have no right to cancel THREE "meetings" with the police. Why are celebrities able to get away with this bullshit? It's getting ridiculous. I'm not looking forward to the media shoving this shit down our throats for the next two months either.

You know at first I was kind of on his side. OIt should be a private matter but if his wife is slugging him with a golf club......that would be an episode on COPS. SURELY, they could tell if injuries on his face were the result of flying glass (if there even was any) or blunt force trauma.

He has to get on top of this and ACT HUMBLY instead of like a pampered star!!!!!
      Be careful out there!

First of all he was under no obligation to speak to the police this was emphasized over and over in all reports I saw of the thing. And secondly if this was Joe Q Public NOT making billions of dollars playing golf it would be a complete non-incident.

He has his right to privacy as much as anyone else when it concerns his family life and isn't obligated to explain the situation to anyone. The most he will be charged with is destroying public property a misdemeanor and the circumstances that percipitated the incident isn't anyone else's business especially the press.

This is what the Florida State Police informed his agent.

"We have been informed by the Florida Highway Patrol that further discussion with them is both voluntary and optional," Mark Steinberg, his agent at IMG, said in an e-mail. "Although Tiger realizes that there is a great deal of public curiosity, it has been conveyed to FHP that he simply has nothing more to add and wishes to protect the privacy of his family."

so if you don't agree with or care for Tiger, ignore the situation and root for Mickelson to not choke as usual

If he was drinking and driving then he does have an obligation to speak with the police. And he should be arrested, as anyone else would have been. I agree that the only reason we know about this is because he is a celebrity, but it's also the only reason he's getting away with it as well.

This whole thing has been a celebrity beat up.

Get off the guys case and leave him alone.

                    Why??

He was in his DRIVEWAY for pity's sake!!!!! Does he need to speak to the police to justify the public's morbid ignorant curiosty?? If you were tanked up and didn't even make it to a public road from your driveway would you be obligated to speak to the police and have you every word transmitted to TMZ, Entertainment Tonight, ESPN (The sports equal to the National Enquirer) etc etc............

He is "getting away with it" because he wasn't on any public highway thus no real laws were broken

Tiger Woods is a Grade A Superstar who commands a $500,000 dollar appearance fee just to play at some golf tournaments regardless of his finishing position, he has muti million dollar endorsement contracts with Nike, Tag Heuer, Gillete, AT&T & American Express.
It is not overstating to say he is probably the most talented & highest earning player the game of golf has ever seen, he is hero worshiped by hundreds of thousands of people world wide.
Some would say that his entitlement to a private life is waived everytime he accepts a sponsors cheque
The mass media was always going to get mileage out of this incident and of course Tiger's subsequent behaviour has made it world wide news with investigative journalists determind to establish the root cause of his

Does not have to be a public hiway in Florida. Its just being behind the wheel with an intent to drive. Folks have been arrested for driving their lawn tractors and drinking a cold one, as its still a motorized vehicle even if it is on your own property. I doubt Florida is alone on this either.

As for his statement.......who gives a fuck,. Seems the only ones insisting is the so called "entertainment news media" they seem to think he is obligated to spill his guts about it. And the crap of what would he be doing going out at that hour of the morning. Its no ones fucking business but his why he is out at any time and where he is going. For all you know he may have been headed to a 24 hour pharmacy for some condoms or feminine hygeine stuff for his wife................

He got away with nothing. Veing a celebrity had nothing to do with it. Fire plugs and trees are hit every day in Florida with all the old retired folks there and you never hear of it. He did nothing anymore wrong than anyone else would have done, and its not an arrestable offense either unless he was drunk, and its already been stated he was not drunk...........so his insurance will cover whatever damages is to the hydrant and tree etc......end of accident case.............

I am completely over it. I could care less. I find the entire situation fucking stupid. I'm not the one hounding him. If this happened in a private driveway, then whatever. But I did not realize that. I thought it happened on a street and he crashed into a fire hydrant. That's part of the point though. There are so little details on this. If he just came out and clarified people would completely stop caring.

I have read some of the reports, but did not realize there was no alcohol involved. If that is the case, then fine. Also, I was never on his case whatsoever. I've found this thing entirely stupid from the beginning. Read my original post and you'll easily see that. But Tiger could have avoided this entire thing from the beginning by just explaining his crash to the media right away. He is one of the most recognizable people on the planet. Of course people are going to be stupidly interested in this, rightly or wrongly. I don't understand why some people here can't realize that.

But tiger is under no obligation to tell anyone anything. From the news media to the State Troopers......he did what was required of him, and folks still pushed for more more more. I'm with Tiger...fuck the world and get over it, it non of the worlds business .....celebrity or not. I don't care who he is or anyone else for that matter. If there would have been a need they would have arested him that night/morning, and not made numerous attempts to get info. Celebrities are also entitled to their peace and quiet and privacey as well. Just who is the news media insisiting that he tell them where he was going at that hour....sheesh!
