Hmmm. Never thought about that. Bet they will be there with their flowing dresses in the winds dancing happily.
Wonder if those exhibitors will start charging a nominal fee just to take photos. Happened with the masked clowns by the boar docks at Venice, Italy. Refused to pose until I paid them. I waved my famous American salute. See if they can run with those giant wired dresses. This happens everywhere I visited around the world. The Buddhist temples have pots with signs to please donate. What for? For the dishonest Monks to steal and pay for their Mercedes? Bangkok has a few raggedly beggars like everywhere I travel. One is called the SLUG. Crawls slowly on the filthy dirty sidewalk of Sukhumvit Street near Nana Plaza. Clothes all black as night. He carries no cup so you're supposed to place your donation in front of him. Then you can see he is really awake and can think clearly. Funny how after I pass him and return from a restaurant visit I found him on the OTHER side of the busy street. How did he do that? Probably the smartest beggar magician in the world.
One thing westerners find upsetting when they come to Thailand is the number of beggars they see on city streets. Actually, no […]
This news just came out Nov 16, 2018. I hope they don't do this. I would gladly tip this gal B30 to do a selfie with here. Bangkok at night is so full of photogenic artists and magicians. Got many at Walking Street and they do draw a large crowd wanting to be entertained. I love them. Please do NOT NOT NOT chase them away. Thailand is famous for many of the most beautiful prostitutes in the world who are affordable and reasonably priced. I love to walk through the streets and sois hunting for hidden bars with lovely boys and girls in the shadows. Makes me get my daily nocturnal exercises every night. Will I find the hottest chick/katoey in a dumpy bar or just walking to a 7-11 store in plain street clothes? Ya don't ever see these street scenes in Hawaii. Waikiki does have many beautiful hookers walking behind the International Marketplace. They can't be removed by the police because they are breaking no laws walking on the sidewalk. Instead the cops will pull them aside and ask them redundant questions like where your ID? Where you from? Where you going? Address of residence? And yada yada yada while they write notes in their notepads. The hookers will continue to walk the streets because their black pimps will beat them up horribly if they do. Even kill them. Cops can't do anything unless someone squeals to them about many incidences of slavery violence. Curious why I never read about these criminal beatings in Thailand news online. Never ever saw a Thai cop questioning a hooker on the streets. I only read about how a hooker conked a white European in the middle of the back of his head. Happened even at King's Bar on Soi 8. Katoey thought he was a bar drinker who skipped out on his bill a few days ago. I don't believe this at all. Hookers tend to lie about everything. I know not what really happened. That's why I always look left and right and behind me frequently like I'm in traffic. Lots of spooky people who hate us just because we're rich, white, foreign, privileged, handsomer, and so many things they're not. They seem to love the dummies who wear their fat 2-5 Baht solid gold necklaces in public. Like Indian tourists. I keep telling every gold-flashing Indian to stop this, but they always laugh they can fight them. Yeah, right. BTW, do carry your selfie pole with you wherever you go. I suspect there are people who will gladly volunteer to help you take picture of you against the famous Buddhas and then suddenly run off with your expensive cameras. They will choose fat, out-of-shape tourists, women, or anybody who might be unable or reluctant to chase them. Thanks to my ever suspicious mind and hawk eyes, nobody has stolen my cameras or pickpocketed me. Yet.
