Been there and it is overwhelming. Set aside 3 full days to see it all. However, certain times of the year there is a line to get in as long as a football field. Unfortunately, Paris is turning into a junkyard with so many ghettos and crime. -
Probably better to view the Louvre online as yes it is really crowded there most of time.
We rode bikes around the Louvre at 3am and it was deserted but during the day it is a zoo and slightly dicey.
Now there is all sort of riff raff, panhandlers and immigrants trying to sell crap these days.
At least there is some spots in the hedges where it is not too crowded.

Should go right after the next bombing or truck attack. Louvre used to be the King's palace before he built the Versailles. V is not as beautiful now as it was. because they removed the furniture. Oh well, if it's crowded there's always the Eiffel Tower and the Catacombs. Gotta go there before my legs start going bad. Really fantastic city, but where are the 3 and 4-star restaurants? I can't afford 5-star. I can't even find a hotel room available online. After I saw the huge Paris train station on a tour bus I realized I could stay in a hotel/hostel near the tracks and just ride the subways into Paris everyday. I hear the prostitutes are in Pigalle along with the windmill building and Can Can show. The name came from the second world war when the GI's called it that because of the pig farms. Naturally the hos fit right in. You can see them in YouTube and they are butt arse ugly so forget about forking anything. Best bet is to buy a tourist bus tour or just jump on a public bus and take pictures of everything.Comment

When I was in Paris the Eiffel tower was closed due to rampant crime and loitering.
If you try to find restaurants in popular tourist spots they are usually quite expensive.
Neighorhood restaurants and non-touristy areas have tons of normal restaurants.
However since it is Paris many restaurants seem extra fancy when they really cater to all.
AirBnB is huge in Paris, so i think that is where you would find the best deals or situations for lodging.
I didn't see any hookers down by the Moulin Rouge but it makes sense since all the sex shops are on that same street or rue.
There is quite a few ladyboys there if you look on escort sites etc.
Also we ran into many ladyboys in restaurants in Chinatown, and saw some walking around.
Or go visit a ladyboy that lives there like I did.
The neighbourhood around La Basilique du Sacr? C?ur has tons of small restaurants.

We went to the Lido de Paris only because they were giving reduced tickets at that time. A truly spectacular show. Everyone should see something like this at least once in their lifetime. The Christmas show, with the Rockettes, at Carnegie Hall in New York is not to be missed also once in a lifetime.

Saw the Lido in Paris last 2012. I was traveling in a tour group so they put us in the back of the room. Hard to see. Diid see the Las Vegas Lido de Paris when I was young in 1970, and it was spectacular with all its boobs and feathers. Funny a male star was out of shape with a pot belly and struggled mightily to hold up the showgirl loaded with heavy feathers without shaking from muscle fatigue. In 2011 I saw the Crazy Horse show in the MGM Grand Hotel which was a cabaret show. This was a show that Playboy raved about for many years. All the girls were French and so sexy as they dance in cadence. The girls must watch their weights or be returned home. OOOH LALLAH!!!! Would love to visit NYC before they destroy the porn book stores. Want to see some broadway shows, but I think they are very hard to get reservations to online. Heard that if you go to the ticket office and see if there are cancellations you might get them cheaply. Hotels so expensive and am tired of staying in hostels where they are located on the west side.
Really the Ladyboys shows from Alcazar, Tiffany's, and Colosseum should come to Vegas. Bet ya everybody will be gobsmacked at their incredible beauty and perfect bods. Should even improve Thai tourism.Comment
