    Ringo Starr

Just got home from the Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band concert at festival Hall.

Bloody fantastic, 2 hours of a super professional outfit.

    Band members...

    Rythem Guitar - Todd Rundgren
Lead Guitar - Steve Lukather - Toto
Keys - Gregg Rolie - Santana / Journey
Bass Guitar - Richard Page - Mister Mister
    Horns - Mark Rivera
    Drums - Gregg Bissonett
    Drums - Ringo starr
Vocals - all band members either solo doing there own tunes or backup for everyone else.

Songs were a mixture from the various band members and Beatles / Ringo solo

    Definatly money well spent

Saw Journey on campus at San Diego State University way back in the early 1970's with Greg Rolie on keyboards. Here's a great version of Black Magic Woman, with Greg's superb vocals and keyboard and the rest of Ringo's All Star band as backup.

More from the All Star Band, featuring Todd Rundgren with his crazy song...Bang on the Drum. Saw Todd in the late 70's with Utopia at an open air theatre concert in Glendale, CA.

Another from Ringo's All Star Band. Richard Page from Mister Mister with an absolutely awesome rendition of Kyrie. The vocals will knock you out!

Ringo was cool but Paul was the real dreamboat.

Now Paul looks like Angela Lansbury and Ringo looks pretty much the same as before.

Thanks for the compliment alan1chef. The real compliment goes to the band, thanks for posting the videos they definaty brought back some great memories.

Kyrie - Richard Page brought the house down a standing ovation the vocals were stunning with Ringo commenting after the song "how does anyone follow those vocals" the rest of the band refused to follow so Ringo sang the next song.

I checked out a further 5 songs from the links you provided, just amazing musical abilities.

Interesting, I found the tour poster only 2 days ago and have it on the wall in my office now.

                Thanks.
