Now I know this could be a rather incendiary topic. I dont mean it to be. I enjoy listening to talk radio. I know talk radio is mostly conservative politically. I dont want to chat about the merits of such partisans like Rush/Hannity.

Theres one program i really enjoy and from whom I have learned a lot. The guys name is john batchelor. He is on many stations but started locally in New York. Very thought provoking and he talks a lot about politics and a lot about international issues. They have covered the Egyptian elections, events in China etc.. You can easily listen to his podcasts. just google "wabc radio" and ahve a listen. BTW I love listening to shows this way-no adverts.

I listen a lot to sports radio mainly the number 1 guy in New York named Mike Francesa on WFAN. This show has SO MANY commercials, I cannot listen to it on the radio. He is simulcast on a cable TV network and thank goodness for the DVR!!!!

On my computer I am listening a stream to the #1 late night show in America. Its called COAST TO COAST AM. They talk about a lot of weird shit, which at times can be compelling. They have a lot of crazy bullshit but it can be quite compelling.

Anyone else have their favorites?

Do you mean "Talk radio" where they have a guest(s) that ask/reply to questions as opposed to "Talk back" where the great everybody ring up and spew??

In Dallas I have 3 Talk Radio Stations that I listen to. Two of them are sports. In Houston when I travel there I have 2 Sports Talk Radio Stations. I have bizarre music tastes so the radio is not much help for me there.
