                    I dont get it with some of the smarter brained amongst us. How can a guy that was used to developing technology shun the advances in medical science, sounds like he almost signed his won death warrant by rejecting proper drugs.

                    In about twenty years time maybe some of the alternatives medicines will be seen to be viable but until some REAL evidence and not hyped bullshit is available i would give that crap a last resort slot. he could have cured himself maybe according to the article or at least give himself a better chance of enjoying his wealth

                    A strange character was he. It appears that many guys would avoid getting into the lift with him in case they were out of a job the time they hit their exit floor... he seemed to have sudden mood swings.

                      It isn't how smart the person is, it's what they believe. Unfortunately for Steve Jobs he placed his belief in non-traditional treatment.

                      Having worked in Palliative care, I've seen cases like this foregoing traditional treatment and ending up with shortened lives. It's always the choice of the patient, but there's no second chance if they choose the unproven road.
