A guy nicking a baseball cap gets prison sentence. WTF

You could not make it up , the Police are the most useless bunch clowns i have ever known. I have been burgled twice and they did nothing although they had the guy on CCTV doing it

    It gets worse and worse

(L B Q @ Aug. 16 2011,12:01) He's just a fucking useless cunt of a liar like all those useless fucking cunts of liars before him.
Any better than street abuse by the brainless ... from a different gutter?  Fortunately not all the UK adopt that nihilistic style of criticism.

No, I'm not a Cameron clone, but some people are going to diss UK whatever happens.    a rant from the English National Party coming soon to this thread ....

It's just how I feel about all politicians. I haven't singled him out because he's any worse then the rest of the useless morons.

It used to be that politics was a civic duty undertaken by those with a conviction to help the country in a political manner that they believed (rightly or wrongly/leftly!)

Now it's a 'get rich quick' scheme for Oxbridge grads!

Mourning the decline of a once great country doesn't make you a member of the English National Party. I feel shame, anger and frustration at watching this unfold before me.

The UK is a toilet and nobody has the balls to flush away the turds.

If you hung a Union Jack up in many parts of London your Flat would be burnt to the ground within a week , that is if the police havent arrested you for being a Political Incorrect nuisance

So much for social cohesian and all the other rubbish they keep talking about... its never ever going to happen unless some kind of Communist party gets in power and starts brainwashing people that they are equal while the party Cadres carry on as normal.

You cant even safely fly your own flag anymore. The UK will not even exist in 20 years as the Scots are out and it will be just a reminder of what was

BUT what about two guys getting FOUR Fcking years for a facebook post. That is beyond unreasonable. It was OK for the lying Bliar to put Britain into an illegal war and that freak is still creaming millions in the E.U. but two people sitting at home writing to others sitting at home (like this forum) get four years for "incitement". The world is way upside down!!

In a time when the country was going to pot, these 2 nitwits posted times, dates, places to rob and sent it to all their mates.

at least they had sense not to show.

                    serves the dumb cunts right.

by the time they appeal they will have done 9 months and been tarred for life.

Two men have been jailed for four years for using Facebook to incite disorder.

Jordan Blackshaw, 20, from Marston near Northwich, and Perry Sutcliffe-Keenan, 22, from Warrington, appeared at Chester crown court on Tuesday. They were arrested last week following incidents of violent disorder in London and other cities across the UK.

Neither of their Facebook posts resulted in a riot-related event.

During the sentencing, the recorder of Chester, Elgan Edwards, praised the swift actions of Cheshire police and said he hoped the sentences would act as a deterrent to others.

Assistant Chief Constable Phil Thompson said: "If we cast our minds back just a few days to last week and recall the way in which technology was used to spread incitement and bring people together to commit acts of criminality, it is easy to understand the four year sentences that were handed down in court today.

"In Cheshire, we quickly recognised the impact of the situation on our communities and the way in which social media was being used to promote and incite behaviour that would strike fear in to the hearts of our communities.

"From the offset, Cheshire constabulary adopted a robust policing approach using the information coming into the organisation to move quickly and effectively against any person whose behaviour was likely to encourage criminality. Officers took swift action against those people who have been using Facebook and other social media sites to incite disorder.

"The sentences passed down today recognise how technology can be abused to incite criminal activity, and send a strong message to potential troublemakers about the extent to which ordinary people value safety and order in their lives and their communities. Anyone who seeks to undermine that will face the full force of the law."

THE family of a gang member who set up Facebook pages urging local louts to riot said they were "shocked and upset" at his four-year jail term.

Jordan Blackshaw, 20, was locked up after setting up a page last week called Smash Down Northwich Town.

Judge Elgan Edwards cracked down hard on him and Perry Sutcliffe-Keenan, 22 €” who also got four years.

He told Blackshaw, of Northwich, Cheshire, he committed an "evil" act and said Sutcliffe-Keenan had caused "very real panic".

The judge added he hoped the long sentences he dished out would deter others.

But Blackshaw's family said there will be an appeal, according to solicitor Chris Johnson.

It came after a court heard Blackshaw hatched a plan for mayhem when he saw riots in East London on TV.

He urged members of his Mob Hill Massive gang and any other interested locals to gather at a McDonald's diner in the centre of Northwich.

But no one turned up after police "infiltrated" the page to warn of a stern response to any trouble.
                      Plan

And most pals were "revolted" by his plan, Chester Crown Court heard.

Blackshaw admitted a charge of arranging an event on Facebook capable of encouraging offences including riot.

Sending him to a Young Offenders Institute, Judge Edwards told him: "The title of the message you posted chills the blood."

Sutcliffe-Keenan, of nearby Warrington, used his Facebook account to design a page entitled The Warrington Riots.

He included a photo of a fracas and an image of himself and mates in a gangster-like pose.

He invited contacts to meet at a pub €” and 47 said they would be there before cops closed the page.

Judge Edwards sent the thug to jail, saying the panic he caused in his neighbourhood "put a very considerable strain" on police.

Last night Sutcliffe-Keenan's brother Tyler, 16, insisted he had been drunk when he set up the Facebook page and "just did it for a laugh".

Tyler said of the sentence: "It's just stupid because nothing happened. Was there a riot? No. Mum's upset."

David Cameron today backed the tough sentences.

The PM said: "What happened on our streets was absolutely appalling behaviour and to send a very clear message that it's wrong and won't be tolerated is what the criminal justice system should be doing.

"They decided in that court to send a tough sentence, send a tough message and I think it's very good that courts are able to do that."

But leading criminal barrister John Cooper QC warned that some sentences were being handed down as a "knee-jerk reaction".

He said: "It's the duty, in my view, of all those who direct sentencing to be independent and not to be influenced by angry Britain.

"There's no doubt that some individuals will need to be sentenced very firmly, but my concern is that the sentences given in the last week have been disproportionate and somewhat hysterical.

"What's happening here is they're being unduly increased to appease public anger and, as far as the magistrates are concerned, potentially influenced by the views of politicians."

The 'context' (i.e. the riots) of normally trivial crimes has been picked up on as a reason for handing out stiff penalties.

I personally don't feel that the 'context' of a crime should have been used by the judiciary in handing out their sentences.

In fact I think that ALL crimes that involve theft, violence and personal injury should be met with the harshest of deterrents.

And it should apply equally to governments and their cock-sucking butt fuck pal corporations.

Unfortunately for the UK the sewage starts at the top and the political 'leaders' are most to blame. They lie and cheat and steal and then spout hypocritical garbage when anyone else does it!

The police are no more than tourist attractions and have about as much use in law enforcement as a slice of bread.

The mass import of unskilled spongers has alienated millions of British who cannot find work. Add to that the 5 million who can't be arsed to work because life's fantastic on the social.

If you aren't to stupid or blind you'll see that we are at a turning point in the west and the UK has only just started to feel the back lash of allowing the filth and corruption of it's leaders to go unpunished.

In the next few months we'll have curfews and city centers will be deserted.

The Olympics will be cancelled or moved - but they should never have been allowed to stain our country in the first place. But that corrupt giant (just as bad as FIFA) is another story.

If you think that the British way of life is still cream teas and bobby's on the beat and that people like me and Tomcat are talking 'bollocks' then you have a massive eye opener coming to you in the next few months!

OK you stay in my flat one one month and you can hang a Union Flag draped from the bedroom window...roadside. How long do you think it would be until a brick came through.. or worse.. a week maybe.  best bring a crash hat and e fire extinguisher

Parts of London are in fact no longer even recognisable as parts of Europe. This is a fact , even the German Ambassador said he thought he had arrived in a third world country when he docked at Heathrow. This is not Bollocks , this is fact because he was right.. as we all know

It would be funny if it were not so serious

We should have followed the Japanese approach .. let no one in. Japan is the most racist country on earth yet when do you here the Liberals clobber the Japanese.  Answers on post card please
