Its very easy to blame gov't cuts and misappropriaetion of expenses by MP's - what these cunts did was vandalism and looting pure and simple - jumping on the bandwagon

social exploitation - they should try going home and having a look what its like in deepest somalia these days.

(katoeylover @ Aug. 14 2011,10:55) Where is this utopia that tomcat and sid live? surely not thailand where there is NO welfare system to protect its people?
Utiopia... what are you on about, i dont live in one now and never claimed to. what a load of bollocks. I suffered through this shit and i am pretty angry. If i could find a proper Utopia i wouldnt be living in this shithole.

Like you said the underclass are un-employable and i hope to move my business out of London with all haste. This area is a war zone and for the last 6 months i have at least one altercation with the local ethnic gangs

It has become a joke and many respectable Business people agree with me , in fact ive yet to find one that doesnt. The experiment of muliticulturalism has not worked and thats coming from the Daily Telegraph. I had no part in this experiment and i think that the white working class man has been betrayed .

I dont have time for Liberal bullshit. I am not changing my ways for no one and dont give two fucks what anyone thinks.

Do you think that someone who buys Swedish heavy Metal records called " Hammer of the North" and has a poster of Vlad the Impaler on his wall is ever going to be a lefty

Why is the youth 'unemployable' ASSUMING there are actually jobs for them??  I read somewhere that in the area of London of one of the "riots" there are 40+  applicants for every job.

         Speaking of the Telegraph

        Illuminating:

        http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news....ut.html

"Not so much the actual opinion piece but the comments section is the thing that unintentionally underlines how dysfunctional and bitterly divided British society now is.

The mob may be opportunistic thugs and looters, but they are also a symptom of the all pervasive class war that is flaring more brightly that ever in Britain.

people are criticising the police response, but at the end of the day even Murbarak€™s total dictatorship relied on at least the acquiescence of the governed. When the spell and veneer of that acquiescence to authority is broken, anarchy reigns. the Metropolitain police are totally discredited in the eyes of those they repress most often. Hundreds have died in police custody in the last two decades and the IPCC have convicted not a single officer. Policing vacillates between bullying the middle class with kettling and totally abandoning €œno go€ areas to youth gangs. The Murdoch scandals have revealed the police as just another corrupt part of a British ruling elite that is run along the lines of an organised crime family. In a animal sense, the marginalised mobs are sensing the general weakening in the moral authority of the discredited capitalist ruling elites from Tel Aviv to Greece to London.

Imposing austerity on the poor and squeezing the middle class whilst bailing out the global financial sector to the tune of billions is starting to have its consequences."

yes , a very good article and just backs up what i said about the big society being the biggest load of bullshit that was ever spouted by a Politician... everyone thinks hes living in cloud cuckoo land, even his own supporters ( that dont include me)

          QUOTE
Most of the 53 per cent of e‑democrats calling to have the death penalty reinstated (of whom 8 per cent would opt for firing squad or gas chamber) would never dream of torching a police car, but their impulses hardly cohere either with David Cameron€™s utopian ambitions.

            Why is the youth 'unemployable...'

A faulty education system is mostly to blame. In the last few months I've bee on the recieving end of 'new hires' working in a hotel in the middle of England.

It's very sad indeed as these people are not stupid but have no basic knowledge and no initiative whatsoever.

The needs of the young aren't driven by necessity which is the most important thing in life.

They are a whole generation of ambling, bored and powerless morons.

They are influenced by TV which they see as a world they deserve to inhabit. They have been betrayed by a useless and fake education system which cannot fulfill it's obligations of passing on knowledge and creating useful people.

Why would you pay these people six pounds an hour when they are worth less than 50 pence a year?

Of course business goes abroad. There are work forces in Asia and other places that WANT to work and want to learn and want the opportunity of making some (not a lot of) money.

The don't get sick and they will retrain and relocate and do overtime.

In the UK you are better off on the social where you can con the idiots that work there out of anything you need for as long as you ain't shopped by a jealous neighbor.

When I was young we were referred to as a nation as GREAT Britain. Whilst it might not have been entirely exact it was at least something to hold on to and be proud of.

In the last 30 years we have seen a shocking and criminal free-fall in standards from every department of government to every class of citizen.

We are scared to death of speaking openly about the savages we have allowed to infest our streets and destroy our national identity. The blacks have taken on the role of white trash and the white trash have embraced a culture of tribalistic feralism which the blacks have inflicted on the nation.

Neither the black nor the white nor the Asian is better or worse than the other. It's not about what color you are - it's about the culture you choose to align yourself with...

...and not having any tangible leadership and any civilized options then of course the youths are choosing the path of least resistance.

                also

England is small place and cannot hold the massive increase in population that is forcast... around another 12- 20 million is forcast and that is without including Camerons idea of letting Turkey into the EU. Remember they told us that only 12,00 Polish plumbers would be coming.. ahahahahh...more bullshit

If that happens then best run for the hills as there will be no hope

Its now estimated that more than 1 million Turks could head straight for London if they are let into the EU. One doubts if anyone of English descent will be left living in London 30 years time

The real tragedy with these riots as I see it is that the problem hasn't gone away, the rioters have had a taste of what it is like to rule the streets, now they have skulked off to wait for another chance to reign havoc. Yes, I know over 2000 have been arrested but there would appear to be many more times that who support them.

After watching many news reports & seeing so many of these 'victims' interviewed, I am amazed how opportunistic & how self-justifying these scum are. And that is all they are, social detritus who need to be locked-up & re-educated as to how to behave in polite society.

Of course that isn't going to happen, the lack of will to do anything about them was exemplified by the attitude of the police in not wanting to confront them when they first started.

I found the police inaction completely galling, they are so pussy-whipped by political correctness, they seemed unable to grasp the importance of what was happening. Either that or worse, they actually sympathised with the rioters.

Then the UK's problem is so much worse by an order of magnitude.

And now they have have tasted battle & felt 'victory' from burning down buildings, they will keep attacking society until they either win some concession from the government or the government declares war on them, something I believe they subconsciously want. All bad behaviour by any child is simply a way to get their parents attention. There is no difference here, grabbing the spotlight & demanding the government recognises them is behind much of their screwed-up thinking.

It won't be another 30 years before this lot are back on the streets, my guess is that the Olympics will be the perfect time for an opportunistic attack. That would be extremely difficult to cope with, the mobs will be emboldened knowing the police dare not shoot.

This is a social problem that may never be resolved, the class divide is hopelessly split & with future economic prospects looking bleak for years to come, nightime curfews & travel passes seem inevitable. It is so sad that it has come to this.
Despite the high cost of living, it continues to be popular.

(katoeylover @ Aug. 15 2011,00:19) I am just saying - EVERY Country has problems...
Well that's a common enough reaction.

Sure - all over the world countries are struggling to maintain order amongst it's people.

Unfortunately though - in the UK there's really no excuses for this behaviour.

Our people aren't starving or under any kind of political oppression that threatens their safety or well-being. The UK also has the most generous hand out system on the planet and the best health care for those who can't afford to pay for the real thing. There are jobs for anyone who needs one or wants one... (I am living proof of this!)

So why did they do it?

They have a place to live, food on the table and everything in their sorry piss-poor lives is paid for by normal people.

                          It starts at the top.

Take away their houses and handouts and they'll soon get busy working.

Give the emergency services immunity from frivolous prosecutions.

Put those still on benefits to work cleaning streets and picking up garbage, etc.

Evict all illegals AND foreign layabouts and make prison worse than hell.

Get out of the EU and this bizarre cartoon world of human rights and corruption.

                          There's a start...

Huh? An Australian asking this? Hard to believe...

It is a basic short bread of flour, butter, water & baking powder & has been around for centuries.

That's a dream that won't happen. Can you imagine how the Human Rights lawyers would love that, there wouldn't be enough of them.

There would have to be a revolution of the people marching on parliament for something so drastic to happen. And the police & military would have to be in full support. I can't see it happening in my lifetime yet in many countries around the world, this very thing has happened in the past year.

We think of those places as third world & backward but the people are still demonstrating in spite of being shot at. I bet those folks wouldn't tolerate such civil disobedience from a group of society who don't work.
