That settles it! I am sqeezing a quick trip to Angeles City/Pattaya in April /May spending a bit more of the kiddies inheritance. Seriously the good reverend who is one of the 6000 year push is 89. He may have some inside information on his own individual departure

I wonder if there is a contingency plan for May 22 in the event this doesn't happen.
Do they have a billboard to deal with the leftover mess?
Will they claim humanity did not pay their bills and thus the event is delayed?
Or maybe they can pile on and blame it on the recession and inflation.

Maybe it was too expensive to come May 21 and to save money they delayed it?

And maybe they can throw us a volcanic eruption disaster to let us know they are still thinking of us and will get back soon???

These guys are travelling the world and were in Aus last week. The guy interviewed said that it was based on being 7000 years (according to their highly sophisticated calculations) since Noah's deluge and that was the given date for the end of the world.
When asked what he would think if the end of the world did not occur, he stated that he would think "There is no god".

It never ceases to amaze me how people like these guys can get so many others to buy into their inaccurate rhetoric, and the emphasis is on "buy"....I'm sure they push the donation theme a lot to fund their fallacy. The story of Noah is not factual; it is based upon similar stories that appear throughout the cultures of that time period....perhaps originating from a real world experience like the tsunami that overwhelmed Indonesia and south Asia. If you've read Joseph Campbell's four volume work, The Masks of God, you would find that there were several flood stories from that period. The story of Noah is just the biblical take on that theme. As for anyone knowing when the world will end...I believe it will come "like a thief in the night"...in other words...nobody knows for sure.

So, enjoy each and every day...life is a journey you know.

What do you mean the story of Noah is not factual!!! I have one of his hammers out in the shed. Its been in our family for years. The handle has been replaced eight times and the head replaced three times but its still in good condition.

Apparently this guy was wrong before on 2 occasions with the same prediction.

That website where this was posted had a podcast with him being interviewed about this next prediction and why he was wrong on the last 2.
But this time he said it was a more accurate prediction based on more solid information.
