    New Windows Phone 7

Windows Phone 7 handset range revealed

The new Windows 7 phone will be available from the 21st October and brings you all the advantages of the Windows operating system.

It takes ages to start up and frequently refuses to start at all except in safe mode.

It will try to refuse connections to any other service provider.

It repeatedly nags you about upgrading your service package.

If you get fed up with the nagging and upgrade  -  your personal settings will be randomly altered.

When it does connect a call you will be disconnected for no apparent reason.

It tells your phone provider every phone number you call and makes it available for any phone hacker.

Your contact list will be re-arranged into a random order sometimes when you open it.

Any applications you load will cause it to crash or will be disbled by a software update you did not want.

OK folks form an orderly queue...........

I'm all over it. Windows over Apple anyday of the week!

I know lots will complain but windows is a lot easier to program and work around which works just fine for me. Your mileage may vary!

Maybe I sound insensitive but its not the case at all. I do care!  But if I had to live my whole life based on how everyone might be sensitive to me.. I would not be living my life as I want it. So you can accept me and my flaws as I am or you can't.

Windows 7 for mobile is already missing some important features that Android 2.2 will have.

It's a non starter and I don't know why they even bothered.

If you loved 'Zune', the cumbersome and slowness of Windows PCs and you want to be a member of the smallest OS for smart phones then Windows 7 Mobile is for you.

      There's only one Android!

Not everyone needs all the features of a smart phone you know.. just phone, text, yahoo chat/ email and gps will do!

Somehow Microsoft has gone from Scary Evil to bad tempered incompetent, a welcome change. Still the only thing I would like less than a Microsoft powered mobile phone is a Microsoft powered pacemaker !

I still remember a friend raving about his years ago, and the next week telling me it crashed AND he needed to go to a dealer shop to reboot....WTF !!!

All you Android fan boys forget 2 major drawbacks of Android:

                    - your google mails are welcome to read for anyone (I don't have a google mail account and I don't plan on getting one)
                    - Android still cannot sync contacts with Outlook, which makes android phones useless for most business users

I would so much like to use Android, but unfortunately, it lacks the required functionality.

Biggest drawback is that android is not a finished product - and it was released at suboptimal operating efficiency

Same problem happened with blu ray players.... got my 1st one in 2007 and have already needed to upgrade due to evolving standards.

I just bought myself the new iphone 4. It rocks, I love it!
I need stuff that works consistently and reliably, kinda like a toaster or a Japanese car, PCs and microsoft do not and never have, for me.

Microsoft has said that users will be not be able to swap or expand the memory on upcoming Windows Phone 7 devices with SD memory card slots. Microsoft argues that people won't need of expanding the memory.

Microsoft also claims that, as most of the Windows Phone 7 features rely heavily on the cloud, users won't require a larger memory than they already have.

Just goes to show you that Microsoft are so out of touch they may as well be on another planet!
