I just came across this box (below) inviting me to contribute to an online article.

But frankly I can't be arsed to do all the hard work proving that I'm a human and not a robot!

Wouldn't it be much easier for websites like this to just say "Fuck off - your opinion is worthless!"

Nine digits to type in to prove that I'm a nice reasonable opinionated human... NINE!

They can fuck off... and actually all the shabby crap-sites who make users do this can also crash, burn and die.

If its gobblede gook script then many computer companies pay sites for the human reco input by using code that needs to be proof read.. so much of the time your are proof reading some technical code script for a large corporation for free.

I think you would understand why they have to do this - approx 70% of the new TLF member sign ups in the past were spammers. If they had it wide open they would have a ton of spam posted.
