I agree with some of it but I don't agree with all of it.

I know every military is corrupt. Its hard to say this is eye opening..

At the end it becomes conjecture and propaganda ala Michael Moore.

The truth is these things will exist and there is no changing it. It did answer one of my questions though because we could have been out of Afghanistan and Iraq in 2 days and showed the world don't fuck with us but we had to justify staying there for 2 decades or longer somehow and it pisses me off because perfectly good young kids come back with their hands or legs missing or they don't come back at all. I think most of us know at least 1 or more of these kids.

There are truly so many problems with American money management by the government. LBJ might have dreamed about "the great society" but he went about it the wrong way. Welfare makes people lazy. Instead he should have given people tools to get jobs, i.e. free college degree for everyone. Instead of bailouts for the rich, business grants and loans for entrepreneurs. 2000 page water downed bills with 1999 pages of tax money being wasted to congress members friends rather than a 4 line paragraph of a law.

Even the state governments are now this corrupt so nothing is going to change unless there are more political parties and hopefully some politicians of integrity. I know.. wishful thinking on my part.

Maybe I sound insensitive but its not the case at all. I do care!  But if I had to live my whole life based on how everyone might be sensitive to me.. I would not be living my life as I want it. So you can accept me and my flaws as I am or you can't.

Most Americans want to believe Iraq will be a better place when we finally leave. This video shows what childish fantasy that wish is. The estimates of casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan is in the 250,000 range. And as the video points out, about 90% of those are civilians. So it's worth asking, "who causes the greater suffering?" "Who's actions result in the most death?"

        Sorry,

Even though i am not American, cannot really judge about the atrocities of war because i never been in a warzone, never had to join the militairy and do feel that most of the incidents describes in this youtube video are inexcusable,it rubs my the wrong way.

        Why
-because i think people who have know experiance with war or service for the country should be very careful in the way the criticsm those who do
-because it is always easy to make a tape of the worst cases, presenting them like there every day occurences....War is the ugliest thing there is but i am pretty sure that the biggest part of the USA army doesnt go around raping young Arab girls and killing there parents (even though one could agree, because rape is mostly about dominance, that is an integral part of war, when viewed throughout history). If certain people kill or rape children in a certain city these are usually excess as well.Though war does create the perfect enviroment to perpetrate acts that are never justified it isnt the only situation where these things can happen though are far from the norm
-because it doesnt reflect a fair pictures of the thing that happenend before the war during the Saddam age, doesnt compare the frequencies it happenend in and doesnt reflect on the behaviour of the Iraqis before and during the conflict....I know that it doesnt excuse certain acts if there being perpetrated by others as well but it does give you the ability to be really righteous in you indignations if you are honest in comparing the two.

As for the war in Iraq,do i think it was a vain and wrong decision to go to war there, yes.Do i think it is criminal there the administration was lacking any decent contingency plan whatsoever, yes.
Do it think the United States is sometimes to hasty to project hard power around the world, yes.

Still i do think citizens of the United States have reason to be proud and we in Western Europe (and the rest of the world though that is partly debatable) greatful in general, even considering these deviations. This because i hardly think the world would be a better place if it was supposedly more multipoler and the acts of atrocity where commited on a grander scale by indigenous people because the likes of China etc always follow a doctrine of national sovereignty.

So please be critical but dont lose yourself in regards to the overal benevolent consequences of american militairy power.
