There are some things I prefer to forget, silly Zackary being one of them. He was a good actor though, to be that annoying, he had to be!!

for a moment - I ran into a SoCal dude (a teacher from Compton, East LA actually!!) who I found myself discussing music & movies with. He gave me a line from a movie that was met with a blank look.

He yelled at me: "Come on man, that's from the greatest movie of all time - The Big Lebowski"

As he isn't alone in thinking so, I just may have to revisit TBL. Obviously I missed something the first time around. The perils of watching it on TV.
Despite the high cost of living, it continues to be popular.

          One of my favorite movies!

Maybe I sound insensitive but its not the case at all. I do care!  But if I had to live my whole life based on how everyone might be sensitive to me.. I would not be living my life as I want it. So you can accept me and my flaws as I am or you can't.

Its a classic -from Goodfellas the first time round when Henry in the club laughs at one of Tommy's stories and says:
            You're really funny'...
from an innocent and well-meant remark Tommy takes Henry to the verge of destruction
            I make you laugh.I'm here to fuckin amuse you? etc;

The point being that there are times when we say something and it has the opposite effect that we intended.

              No.

It's from the same movie StroCube quoted as well.

How about the film which has a Indian (as in Southern Asian) tribal chief telling the local entertainer to leave the room

                "Fakir. Off!"

From the movie that had the well known British Army Regiment The 3rd Foot and Mouth

And the scene where the British Residence was under siege, but the gentlemen and ladies decided to have a formal, black tie dinner. As the chandelier came crashing down on the dinner table as it was hit by a cannon shot, the British Resident (Sir Henry Ruff- Diamond) turned to the terrified missionary who was a guest, dusted off his dinner jacket and said "Termites".

                Name the film!

Sorry - Sir Sydney Ruff-Diamond, not Sir Henry.

                  Do I come here often?

(strocube @ Aug. 15 2010,06:31) "That was my skull, I'm so wasted."
                    Jeff Spiccoli.

Hilarious! I was about to enter one from the exact same movie, one of my 25 favorite films of all time:

"These seats are so good, you'll be close enough to scare the band".

Name the character for this one, and the film title for both of these quotes.
Ok folks, both of those quotes were "Fast Times At Ridgemont High".

                    Here's a new one from a cult-classic tv series:

"They're grownups, they're allowed to have fun whenever they want. We're kids we're supposed to be working!"
