    What is the longest span you've spent unplugged?

    I think it was 1995 when CP's really took off as did the internet although they were popular before. So what's the longest period of time you've stayed away?

    Personally: 12 days while on vacation.

    How about you?


    Maybe I sound insensitive but its not the case at all. I do care!  But if I had to live my whole life based on how everyone might be sensitive to me.. I would not be living my life as I want it. So you can accept me and my flaws as I am or you can't.

    when i was in high school i cant live without my cellphone that was around 2000 to 2003 and it always should be the latest phone. but now i can totaly live without it i hardly text/call unless its very important. my current phone doesn't even have a camera. and i usually just use it if im going out and meeting friends so you can take my phone away but not my internet i will dieeeeeeee

    the longest i been away from phone/internet was back in october when i was in the hospital not more than 10 days i think.

      The longest I'm off line is when I'm in an aeroplane!

      Have to be here all the time in case someone joins and wants to be upgraded double quick!

      But my phone is almost always off now. I don't need that.

        this last 2 weeks while moving into apartment and bloody BT & Sky not communicating with each other as they should while the poor paying customer is working 12hr night shift each bloody night !!!!

        all done now tho been away has made for some great reading

          My phone hardly ever rings (unless I'm in Pattaya and Pacman is around, that is    ) and I usually I don't like to be disturbed by the phone.

          Messages and internet are no problem at all.

          On Skype I am usually invisible.

          I spend far too much time online but it's my window to the world.

          What I still need is a magic cap which makes me invisible when walking Beach Road so I can avoid the ones I am not interested in - anyone got one 4 sale? Preferably in plain black.

          P.S. Don't get me wrong Paccie, YOU are always welcome to call. Gosh, how I wish we could go for a hunt walk on BR tonight, but I am kind of stuck in the Middle Kingdom - and no, this is not some lb's a**hole.

          The last major invention was internet and all that came with it down to the iPad, etc.
          But as a matter of fact I am waiting for "Beaming". Beam me over to Patts, Paccie, I would say then ;-)

            I've been screwed ever since pagers were invented.

            Always try to stay away from phones/internet on vacations,
            but it's not easy.

            I was unplugged in 2007 for 18 days while on a holiday in LOS.
            Enjoyed every minute of it.
