In less than 12 hours I will be in Sturgis,SD the biggest motorcycle rally in the world, just thought I'd post for some of you guys out there into Bikes as much as I am
Maybe not though I did see an ad on CL last year but didn't get to hook up and to answer DT question it's still a good break for me as I can get away from my normal job and be myself almost except for my love of LB's as I have to wait until Oct. 2nd when I touch down in LOS for 3 weeks
Maybe I sound insensitive but its not the case at all. I do care! But if I had to live my whole life based on how everyone might be sensitive to me.. I would not be living my life as I want it. So you can accept me and my flaws as I am or you can't.
how close are you to there? what kind of bike do you have?
A friend of mine took his Softail from Boston to South Dakota a few years back, round trip took 8 days and he was absolutely wiped out......not really sure if it's worth that to hang around with 50,000 bikers in black T-shirts admiring each others motorcycles, wishing they could screw the 1% of attractive girls who actually show up at these events.
We have one much closer to my home every year, it's actually the oldest biker rally in the country; I used to go every year from about 25 to 45, but I haven't been since I sold my own Softail in 2008.
This is the bike I had for 9 years, sold it in 2008 when I was liquidating all my shit in America.....debated shipping it to Thailand but could just see it as a theft magnet! 1340cc H-D Softail, now gone and replaced by a 2009 Honda Click 120cc scooter LOL
My bike is a 2001 dyna police bike that I've stripped down and Jockey shifted (foot clutch and hand shift) nobody ever ask to borrow as most people wouldn't know how to ride anyway usually nI just throw them the keys and say go ahead then they ask where's the clutch lever and I say on the left side w/ your foot they just look confused LOL here's a few more pics
