Despite the cloud hanging over the inaugural awards ceremony, for those BMs who managed to make it, it was definitely a night to remember. In fact it was such a glittering spectacle that if you remember it at all, you probably weren't there  

A few preliminaries.

Thanks to Bumpa for the inspiration. Tomcat for MC duties and Security arrangements. Apple for Transportation and logistics.  
And Snick for pre and post production, and directing the Live telecast.
Without your help the night could never have been so pointless. Great job guys !!

Before the awards presentation got under way, a few 'apologies' were mailed in over the satellite.
bigmick working hard, rxpharm was doing some locum work on a luxury cruiseliner, and Paccie got caught when his remote stuck on repeat whilst watching Forrest Gump again..he didn't even notice

A scurry in the crowd and some disturbance from outside the auditorium. Thankfully Tomcat's people were on top of the situation and Jake Sully quickly subdued the intruder.
