i always knock on the plane door before boarding

i used to keep 3 old coins on my wallet (the ones with hole on it) but i lost it

I used to have a ritual with the right foot, but now I reversed it.. I think.

i dont have the right or left foot ritual but whenever i buy a shoes smaller than my size i bite it before wearing it so i wont get hurt when i wear it

I am not a pessimistic person at all, but my rituals may make me sound as though I am. My rituals occur daily with the simplist of things like walking out the front door to get the mail. Yadda',,Yadda',, so on & so on.

My ritual is; Plan ahead all aspects & expect the worst.
I bet there is a Boat-Load of members here who do the same? But as for a Rabbits Foot, Four Leaf Clover?
The only thing I can think of is; I refuse to walk by a coin laying on the ground face up without putting it in my pocket. And making a wish while you rub it before you pocket it is Really SPOOKY when the wish comes true.

About Planes

I love to hear the roar of the engines and get a thrill of the plane racing down the runway on "take off"

I now always look to see if the Flaps and Aileron's have bee reteracted from the wings of the Aircraft, this after seeing an Air Crash Investigation Documentary where a Captain and his First Officier had somehow forgotten to do this at an American Airport and subsequently the Plane tried to take off but couldnt and hurtled straight into a Bridge and blew up in Flames.
Everyone died except a 4 year old child who miraculously survived.


What I dont like is the actual "lift off" thinking the Tail of the Aircraft might clip the tarmac and the seemingly silence of the Engines about 20 seconds after "lift off" as if they have been turned off  

My ritual for this is saying "Come on Baby Up Up Up" inside my head a few times before I hear the Flaps go back inside the wings , then Im ok and can relax

last time i saw you, you were shouting the same thing at a go-go dancer in a mini-skirt -- so i guess that's your ritual whenever you're trying to achieve lift-off.

I'll try and avoid flying an Airbus as much as I can if that feels like a lucky ritual. I feel safer with boeing provided its an airline with a good record.

I don't trust airbus.. almost all of the airbus crashes are because of technical faults, much more so than boeings.

P.S. A 777-300ER is awesome. I love flying on those! Infact that's what they use for JFK - DUB too

 Well I can still a 777-300ER Flight if I want Jake as Emirates Fly twice daily in and out from Manchester - Dubai 

Might have to give the A380 a go once though, looks a really nice Bird

Yes I remember it very well my friend , and what a lovely pair of "Flaps" she had too
