I voted for Joran Van Der gobshite. I remember reading about that Aruba murder a few months back. The whole family should go to prison.

His father, a judge and some supposedly important guy in Aruba, helped him get off on that one.

         Now he's dead......his Mom is probably heartbroken and rightfully so.

 This new girl he killed .......she is the daughter of some dude who was runner-up in the race for president of Peru the last 2 elections and they have very strong video evidence against him going into a hotel room with her but only coming out alone.....she was found dead 3 days later. Runner-up man has a lot of power down there so getting off this time won't be so easy.

I had a theory that maybe they did some dope (coke maybe) she had a horrible reaction (any Yanks remember Lenny Bias?) and died. He panicked and covered it all up. Now I aint so certain!

I think OJ is. He's older and therefore should know better. What sort of dumb-ass celebrity goes to a Las Vegas Hotel-Casino to do a robbery? Didn't he think that he'd be recognized? He threw away everything he had achieved and for what?

The young Dutch kid sounds like a spoiled brat who has gotten away with everything for his whole life and is now going to be put away for the next 35 years. Although I have read that he might be going for a manslaughter charge in which he could be out in 9yrs. I hope the Peruvians screw this little bastard over.

Van der Sloot admits to killing girl in Peru.

The Dutchman who admitted brutally murdering a 21-year-old woman for using his laptop allegedly ate cake and sipped coffee just metres from her bloodied body.

Joran van der Sloot, 22, ate sponge cake and drank an espresso after killing Stephany Flores Ramirez in his Peru hotel room on May 30, according to his reported confession.

After eating he allegedly took amphetamine pills, had a shower and got dressed before fleeing the hotel.

According to La Republica newspaper, Van der Sloot admitted he broke Flores's neck in a fit of rage after she allegedly used his laptop without his permission and learned he was linked to the murder of an 18-year-old American student.

"I did not want to do it €¦ the girl intruded into my private life," Van der Sloot allegedly told police, according to La Republica newspaper.

"She had no right. I approached her, she was frightened.

"We discussed it and she tried to escape. I grabbed her by the neck and hit her."

The body of Ms Flores, the daughter of a Peruvian racing car driver, was found in the hotel room two days later.

Van der Sloot remains the prime suspect in the 2005 disappearance of American student Natalee Holloway, who was visiting the Caribbean tourist island of Aruba to celebrate her high school graduation.

Ms Holloway's body was never found while Van der Sloot was twice arrested but never charged.

The FBI, meanwhile, has come under fire for allegedly funding Van der Sloot's fatal Peru trip.

The US government agency paid the murder suspect $30,000 in an April sting to provide information on Ms Holloway's death, reports claim.

Despite allegedly taping a meeting in which the suspect accepted money, committed wire fraud and made incriminating statements about Ms Holloway's death, he was not detained before leaving the country.

The FBI has rejected the claims.

Van der Sloot arrived in Lima on May 14 to play in a poker tournament before meeting business student Ms Flores at a casino.
