Just saw this on CNN, ''breaking news''.

Bummer, he was way cool.......but lived a long and eventful life, that's for sure!!

I liked Waterworld!! Speed wasn't half bad either.....

But in my mind he was at his best in Apocalypse Now and Blue Velvet

"hey Frank, you want a Heineken?''

''Heineken?? Fuck that shit!! Pabst, Blue Ribbon!!!''

      RIP to an icon

I love PABST!!! Had a Louisiana girlfriend once I nicknamed Pabst. She was terrific but when I turned her upside down she lost her temper and blew her top.

What a loss, he was great in so many movies, but Apocalypse Now will always be my favorite.
Guess I won't get my Dennis Hopper, Gary Coleman buddy cop movie made now.

It is a sad day. Loved that guy. He marched to the beat of his own drum.

I hope he enjoyed his final trip . . .

One of my favorites. Very talented actor. One of the best for sheer acting talent IMO.

                            RIP Dennis.

                            My favorite performances by him:

                            Apocalypse Now
                            True Romance
                            Flashback

BTW, Dennis Hopper was an accomplished photographer.  A few of his photos can be seen here by thumbing through the book
