    • Tonight on our publically owned TV channel, the international ethicist Peter Singer was asked about his controversial views on sexual contact between animals & people.

He said it wasn't anything he could discuss on television. The host told him to go ahead which he did, discussing how some women enjoy oral sex delivered by their pet dog.

This was before a large studio audience & going live around Australia. There was a robust discussion about sex with animals before Singer said:

"I could never talk about this in America".
Despite the high cost of living, it continues to be popular.

I doubt if it would make prime time in the UK either . I heard of the slippery slope but maybe this subject is to far down that slope .

The Dutch and Scandis dont care and probably wouldnt even blink an eyelid..

There was loads of family at my house on Sunday, and I got up out of bed at about 1pm, and went down stairs and annouced loadly infront of everybody "I just had a huge....pause.....yawn". They all thought I was going to say shit

I believe that I read that it should be $35,000 US per Afghan

I thought Apple pie was American & Cottage pie was English, or is this some sort of code for "Cottaging" you know the old George Michael in the public toilets sort of a thing

                            • that trillion usd of minerals in afghanistan was "discovered" more than three years ago by (i believe) a u.s. geological survey utilizing very high-tech equipment. the only thing that happened this week was that the new york times made it a headline following a pseudo-announcement from the government.
so bottom line, the pointlessness of this thread remains intact.

                              • Which ties in nicely with the recent discovery that the Apple Pie at Hanrahans is better taken with custard and not ice cream.

The surface temperature of said heated pie does not readily accept vanilla ice cream due to a factor known as" ice cream melting". Therefore factor this in to your equations
