I was talking about this a couple of weeks ago. One end of the spectrum if a kid is caught shoplifting in an Sharia law country, they break his arm. If in Thailand, the BIB give him several good clips around the ear and the parents will do the same. The other end of the spectrum over here if the cops touch him the parents accuse them of being heavy handed and could lose their job. Its all down to a lack of respect.

I say follow Singapore and bring pack public floggings as punishment. Also rename ASBO's to gaybo's
