Ialways wonder about the only surviving terrorist from the Iranian Embassy seige in 1980. Turns out Nejad was freed in November 2008 and was not deported to Iran. Instead, he went into hiding with government support. To have deported him to a country where he may have faced torture would have been a breach of the obligations of the UK under international law. So he was locked up for 26 years now lives off the State- gotta love justice and democracy ( and council houses!)

They never got the killer of PC Yvonne Fletcher at the Libyan Embassy- guess they never will considering Libya's a friend now.

Theres a good chance al magrahi the libyan "bomber " wasnt actually the guilty man ,and was the political scapegoat for the lockerbie flight.Im not trying to start a conspiracy thread,or be controversial,but im amazed that so few people know of the facts regarding his show trial.Incidentally dr jim muir,whose only daughter died in the crash,and who has dedicated his life to researching the case ,says magrahi is not guilty,and the syrians and iranians did it,not the libyans.It was politically expedient for libya to take the blame-check it out!
