Not sure if we have had this thread or not...
But was in Koh Chang with Missus F prior to Christmas and it was a step back in time... which can be a wonderful nostalgic thing, or can just be a teeth grinding experience.
While there i heard songs that I remember as being annoying as a kid growing up in KL, they haven't improved with time.
As everyone has experienced a bar they have walked into only to be driven out by throbbing D and B or Techno, or sacharine-syrup lolipop music, I thought I would start this thread and see if it takes off:
My Most Hated List that make me immediately exit bars:
The Cheep Cheep Song: "wheres your mama gone?" (popular in Asia for as long as I have been alive and in fact the song I refer to as hearing on KC)
€œMambo #5€ Lou Bega. Endlessly played on high-rotation in Singapore for months on end by Singamoron DJ's with their try hard yank accents. Being braindead shiftless Sinlaporeans were probably too tired to change the fucking record.
Macarena... Los del Rio. What more do I need to say?
€œOops...I Did It Again€ Britney Spears. Trailer Trash Music. Only suitable for people who think Spandex bike pants in size 22 are fashionable.
€œWho Let the Dogs Out€ Baha Men. So? Who the fuck did?
€œFernando€ ABBA. "There was something in the air that night" Yeah. Projectile vomit.
Boom, Boom, Boom (Let€™s Go Back to my Room)€ Outhere Brothers. Not out there enough... like out there standing next to a trench with rifles at thier craniums.
€œPour Some Sugar on Me€ Def Lepard. Even the novety of a one armed drummer cannot make up for the fact that this band seriously and irrevocably suck.
€œMy Heart Will Go On€ Whitney Huston. In fact anything from this coke-slapper jungle bunny. UNfortunately along with Mariah and Britney and Christina a favorite of Ladyboys.
"You're Beautiful" James Blunt. Personal reasons. One of my best mates in Aus went out with James Blunts ex. When he made it big, the silly cunt took her to his show and she went back stage and was never seen again. Hate SNAGS and JB strikes me as one.
OK gang, over to you.....
