'Buzzing' and 'nudging' on IM...

I can't for the life of understand why people do it! I mean if I was not busy I would answer you and if you want to say hello then say hello.

I just think it is arrogant and rude.

I've noticed that some girls are so busy chatting to multiple friends that the only way to get their attention is to "Buzz" them. I think they assume that others are doing the same thing, so the only way to get your attention is to Buzz you

I don't like the YM buzz either. Especially when someone leads off an attempted chat by buzzing before typing any text. I will use it if someone tells me to buzz them. If someone buzzes me usually I just buzz them back
Msn's nudge isn't close to as annoying, so it doesn't bother me at all.

I used to use those things but I ended up accidentally typing stuff to the wrong people.

I'd tap away, hit 'enter' and THEN look up! Too late! Bitch A got the message for Bitch B and Chum C got half a message about showing me his cock, etc.

After a few weeks I figured they were just too difficult for me to concentrate on.
