    Goodbye to the Aughts!

    With my 500th post, as I prepare to set sail for the LOS this eve, I would like to wish you all a very healthy, happy, and restful holiday season.

    For me, as for many among us, this year wasn't exactly the best.  So, I'm really looking forward to meeting friends old and new in the coming weeks, and watching the backside of this decade heading in the other direction.  

    God rest ye merry, gentlemen.  And here's to hoping next year is a damn good one!
