To a certain degree MS we ALL buy our sex!!  A buddy of mine said, "Marriage is the ultimate act of prostitution."  To an extent, I concur.  Also we arent paying so much for the sex, we are paying them to LEAVE.  Think about it....

there not doing much to help with our pay freeze tho, was only going to last untill sept 2010 but talks have open already to make it untill 2011 so waiting for the outside officials to come in and advise.

BRATTISH AIRWAYS.

British airways staff are a disgrace. in voting (jubilantly) to strike over the holidays they were prepared to ruin christmas for literally thousands of people, not realising that in bringing BA to its knees they might also have voted THEMSELVES out of a job.
  i do hope so. and as they patently dont care about us - the people who actually pay their rather large salaries - we should now boycott them.
  i try never to use BA because the planes always seem to be late, the staff are miserable and its too expensive.
 so lets do to them what they wanted to do to us -  make their lives dificult by not using their airline.

Yes i is silly that soldiers, cops, firemen, nurses etc dont make a lot of money. But then again can you justify the Bonos, the Springsteen, the Ashely Coles, the George Soros, ad naseum of the world making the kind of money THEY make?? Of course not!! In this case there is no justice. If your employer told you that you would make more money over the course of the year, would you turn them down?? Hell, no.

Depends how they got these figures, Knowing the Anti union billionaire owned tabloid press they've probably quoted the Trolly Dolly wage before taking out Tax, National Insurance, Pension etc and The Army wage after the stoppages.

I know a guy who works on BA and he aint on £30k a year. he wishes he was but its nowhere near that.

What you make in that industry depends on the wage scale at you airline, seniority, how many hours you fly etc.. Its tough to find an average...

its a shame the volcanic ash that has closed all uk airports for the last few days, didnt coincide with the BA strike.
maybe the last few days has given these trolly dollies a taste of what its like to be out of work.
