maybe ive been at this for too long, but when i read it i couldnt help but think "he went with a tranny? whats wrong with that ?"
if it had read, "the husband went with another women", nobody would give a fuck.
but they mention the word tranny, and they have a story.

Isn't it funny how one's perspective changes as we age, and as we become more able to embrace what we now love, which we once feared?

At 48, I've suddenly realized I love modern dance. Watching, not participating. Contemporary, hip-hop, rock - love it all thanks to tuning in to "So You Think You Can Dance". If you'd asked me two years ago, I'd have said it was gay.

Same of course with ladyboys. Never knew it interested me, so it meant it was gay.

Now that I think about it, I believe there were some famous celebrities busted with trannies over the years, weren't there? I didn't give it any thought at the time, just figured it meant they were gay. Of course now I'm far more curious about the stories. Was it Eddie Murphy, Hugh Grant and Danny Bonnaduci (from the Partridge Family and now a D-list celebrity and radio guy) that had publicized run-ins with the 3rd sex?

I first read this as 'a transexual in NAPPIES' ... probably would have justified the story
