When I lived in England I hated Christmas. However, now that I'm resident in a so called communist country with a mainly Buddhist population I am starting to look forward to next month. I've even managed to find a bakery that will be making mince pies and christmas cake.

I'm the bah humbug type (in case anyone hadn't worked it out already) I especially hate it here in a Budhist country- it's not a Thai custom and like everything else is getting over commercialised. FFS we had Halloween the other week and people are gearing upfor Thanksgiving. Ohm, Ohm, Ohm
I couldn't give a shit how long it is until you're next holiday- I live here

I like Christmastime but don't like exchanging gifts.

New York is a good place for Christmas since there's always a chance of a white one and there's the tree and skating at Rock Center and lots of energy about town, parties etc.

Shopping is not fun though and trying to buy for others is a pain if I want something I can buy it myself but I have enough stuff and don't need more stuff.

But have no immediate family so most of the "have tos" are eliminated and I can  create the Christmas I want.

Everyone has there own Christmas tradition and I generally was with good friends back home.

New Christmas tradition is Karl playing "Suck On My Cock" sung to Jingle Bell Rock" at EZY Bar.
