Is the forum slow right now?

One would think that if less people are visiting, that they would be following the news from LOS via the LBF. So why aren't they writing?

I think there are a number of factors involved. One, not everyone is interested in the life of the place, so many just log in to look for new porn.

Second, the domination of the threads by a few over-zealous posters turned many off. There gets a point where you can't be bothered to read the same old commentary all the time.

Then there was the retaliation to the prolific ones by a small number of angry posters who did the place no favours at all.

But now, I think the place is as busy as I remember it, Donnnnnny gets about as much response as anyone else here. It is really unusual if a thread gets flooded with comments. And Donnnnnny is not shy to tell off anyone whose post he doesn't like. That may account for some here feeling a little shy to respond.

I must pay a visit to his latest posts & give him a piece of my mind...

Sorry mate, I have been having anti-computer feelings for about 3 weeks after work, but am dipping my toes back in the forum slush-puddle again.

Well, my thread got flooded by p4p comments....

A whole page of them which had nothing to do with the topic of the thread.

It got to he stage I had to bother the mods and ask them to delete them.

Had a word with Roscco the other day and we don't understand why we can't get some more respect for all the info and advice we are providing, even to the extent of meeting with fellow BM's when visiting LOS, organising events and parties and even offering psychiatric help to newbies with problems crossing over to the darkside...

what you fail to realise here p4p is that we are providing a service to guys like you. Yes I do promote the other forum in some of my posts but then again I refer to this forum on the other one in particular if they want info about Bangkok and Phuket. Yes I promote Stringfellows, but also Pook, EZYand not to forget Char Nee bar.
If guys like us wouldn'tdo so guys like you wouldn't know where to go or where to start.
And weren't you the one who started all this with posting a lame remark about my obsession about BH, the other forum and Stringfellows on my TR?

Donnnny sorry for the intrusion but it is relevant to the topic.
There are not that many newly opened threads and at least guys like you and I make an effort to keep the information flow going.
