    Liverpool to Manchester

Was planning to see Liverpool-Manc 12.45pm
    and ManU-Everton 5.30pm.
The LFC game would probably be over around 3pm.
Is it possible to make it for the ManU game?
Is this a trip the cabbies would take?
How long would the trip take and about how much?

      Cheers! Thanks alot.

      Seems like it's possible.
Probably more traffic than usual since there are 4 local teams involved.
But why the heck not. 1h20m cabs ride's perfect for smashing down
      a couple of Millers

I think all in all cab is quicker. Don't really have time to wait for a scheduled train, also I have no idea
to get from the station to the stadium. Money is no issue either and a cab offer more comfort.

Yes ,you will do it easy-arrange a private hire cab before the first game,to pick u up after the match and take you straight to old trafford-youll have plenty of time for a few beers near the ground as well.Ive been quoted £45 for a private hire car before,2 yrs ago,so it will probably be nearer the £50 mark now.As has been said, the black cabs will be more expensive.

Why bother with the First Match   , have a few Pints    in Manchester then head for Old Trafford (aka Salford) before the Match instead

                       ME a "City" fan

I am from and live in Stockport just down the road from Manchester and have been a Man United fan for 42 years.

I also work at Old Trafford for what will now be the 14th Season  so I am fully aware that Old Trafford is not in Salford

I take it you are a "newbie" to this forum so dont know me and realise I was "poking" fun at the "Bluenoses"

                      I hope this explains things

I travel with a LFC-lad and I will visit some relatives on friday in Walton(?). I'm neither LFC or ManU, but since I never been to Anfield or Old Trafford I thought I would do them both while I can in minimum of time
