  • Is the sports world coming to an end?

Bud Light Selig is considering letting Pete Rose back in baseball and Roger Goddell conditionally reinstates Michael Vick!!!!! And the "True" Home Run Champion Hank Aaron states that the juicers in baseball should be allowed in hall of fame with an *

What is the sport world coming to?

It's good to King........no matter what the pay

Courage is being scared to death__and saddling up anyway

”I have absolutely No problem with Ohio State. It has a beautiful campus, and for a Junior College it has really great Academics.”

"Gentlemen and ladies, 'Those Who Stay Will Be Champions' is for you too. It's for every Michigan fan that's out there. When the going gets tough, you don't cut and run. It's not the Michigan way. If I heard it once from the old man, I heard it a thousand times -- when the going gets tough you find out who your real friends are, and that's why we must stay. Because there will be championships, and this staff and these kids will bring those championships here."

Vick has been allowed back into the NFL, howver being allowed to be back in is a far cry from finding a team willing to take him in. I can imagine all the emails and flack a team will get if they sign him up if its just for water boy. I just have this feeling Vicks days are over in the NFL and a team that signs him is doomed.

Rose should be in the baseball hall of fame. He's not the only one who has fallen foul of the rules over the last half century.

Who gives a fuck about that dumbass Vick.

Rose should be in the Hall of Fame. He has denied gambling as a player and has admitted to betting on Baseball only as a manager. Rose is already in the Hall of fame in a sense. All-Time hit leader, World Championships etc.

Take a guy like O.J. Simpson who was in the Hall of fame already before he made PEZ dispensers out of his ex-wife and Ron Goldman. The Hall of Fame wasn't going to strip him of the honuor after he was convicted in a civil court.

Michael Vick committed a hanous Chrime and spent more time behind bars than Stallworth who killed a human being. How long should he have to pay for his stupidity? Let him play I say, let him be the team that signs him their problem. Their fans will blast management until they win with him, then they will forgive him and maybe even start buying his jersey again.

People forgave Ray Lewis who was involved with a murder and got off on his obstruction of justice trial because of who he was and was back the next season in a superbowl.

I've always believed Rose got railroaded. He deserves to be in the HOF most certainly. He may have bet on baseball, but he never bet on his team to lose, or threw any games intentionally.
A lot of old time baseball players bet on games. They would bet on their team to win, then go out and do it.
They gambled on horse racing too and things like that.
I've been a Pete Rose fan since 1966 and anyone who cares to badmouth him in my presence will get a good earful in return.
