Who has swine flu or is just me!

Not had a very good week, worked through the tiredness doing exrta hours, when i was suppose to be on leave. Felt bad all week but again put it down too, too much work and lack of sleep! A couple of days ago went down like a sack of shit and now being treated for swine flu  .
Been given the tamiflu by the doctor!

Anyone else on the forum being treated?

P.S excuse the bad english in the post title, struggling to do anything right at the moment!

Take 2 paracetamol and go to bed!

We'll send Jenny round in the nurses uniform later.

That is when Daveduke has finished with her - or is that her with him?

Pls provide a list of who you are shagging so i know who to avoid

On a serious note - hope you get over it quickly without any complications~~

It's a weird old flu - i live in the epicenter of the break out in my country yet I'm so far unaffected - it seems to be one random beast and relatively mild, thank god!

You probably don't want to hear this but it may not be a bad time to get it before if mutates into something nasty.

Just a quick question, How long did the doc say you should stay off work? I read the other day it was 2 weeks. Seems a bit long too me, esecially now you can just ring the hotline, get diagnosed, they'll send out the tamiflu and note for work, all from a non medically trained call centre operator. I wonder how many people are taking two week holiday. Still hope your back to normal soon.

(geezer @ Jul. 26 2009,12:18) ...Just a quick question, How long did the doc say you should stay off work? I read the other day it was 2 weeks. My advice was 7 days, or after completing the Tamiflu course and all symptoms have disappeared. Although the UK Govt is congratulating itself on a marvellous response to swine flu, there appear to be a few flaws in the plan...

Anyone showing the slightest signs of any flu is automatically lumped into the swine flu group and treated accordingly. However, the only way of checking if it is actually swine flu is by visiting a doctor...and they're very keen for you to stay away !

If by chance you are only suffering from some other related problem, then you've had your one shot at treatment as you won't get access to Tamiflu again.

To pick up the Tamiflu you have to send your 'flu buddy' to a collection point to pick it up. The overwhelming majority of flu buddies are picking up treatment for immediate family members and have been in constant contact with the alleged virus...standing in a confined space with this lot is a sure-fire way to compound the problem !

I eat more chicken, than any man ever seen, yeah, yeah
